The Cavs are coming out of the East. We don't even have to entertain scenarios involving the Celtics in the Finals.

of course, but still
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostWho would Boston hide IT on? I guess Klay…but that's not a good option.
Oh, they would get stomped. It wouldn't be a series.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostOh, they would get stomped. It wouldn't be a series.the Celtics swept the Warriors in the regular season, this is proof they would win.
By pkaz01 Go To PostWe could've had both though :/. Only thing Knight did was help keep the team decent enough to luck into a Booker pick.I don't have great love for either trade. But I disagree that we shouldn't have signed IT. We should. On that deal? But ... they needed to be more attentive to their current roster.

During the season we left him on Curry.
By Kuma Go To PostDuring the season we left him on Curry.Yeah, You can't put him on Klay. Klay has 6" on him. Would just shoot over him every time. Basically an uncontested shot for a top 10 shooter in the league.
By Jeff-DSA Go To PostI have to admit, I kinda want this…kinda. That SLC nightlife lol
By DY_nasty Go To PostThat SLC nightlife lolIt exists as much as jazz does over there. So, it's just staying #onBrand.
Dan Patrick says that the SLC nightlife was more enjoyable than the Chicago nightlife during the NBA Finals. I'm guessing that has to do with the fact that Rodman was showing him around though. Maybe the Warriors are just a bunch of Melvins and can't get on a list.

Honestly no lie I kind of think you could win it next year..... your closer than I would think and you got more than enough assets to get whatever you decide you need.
Ainge in hindsight has done an amazing job. Even Jaylen Brown has me wondering if my "Ainge can't draft for shit" critique is wrong.
By pkaz01 Go To PostThat season was the definition of doing too much. An unexperienced GM fucking himself over with possible bad advice from Babby. He played hardball with Bledsoe all summer, signed IT as insurance, as a result fucked up chemistry with Dragic. Admittedly he got them to sign good contracts but it all blew up in his face due to chemistry issues and he panicked.Your three-guard experiment had me wary of the Gordon / Beverley dynamic at the start of this season. For defensive purposes, Beverley had to start, but I wasn't sure how Gordon would take coming off the bench. He owned that 6th man role for us, and then I thought it would get complicated again with Lou Will coming on board. I'm not sure how they've made it work (eliminating the need for a backup SF maybe? I remember Dragic taking issue with having to defend at the 3), but I'm glad it has so far.

This is why i think the Suns had to sign IT2 when he was available on the terms the was.
But either people were mis-managed or the players just didn't fit / weren't ready to accept altered roles.
I think EG has had enough injury history and is far enough along in his career that he can accept a "lesser" role and it won't affect him.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostTHE Terry Rozier is 7th.
Above Paul George and Jimmy Butler I think.
And Kawhi, what a defensive god Rozier is
By Kibner Go To PostI look down on anyone who uses individual +/- to compare players.
It's a joke about Ainge not wanting to do Nets pick+THE Terry Rozier for George or Butler.

Good way to make people mad by hyping up some role player.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostIt's a joke about Ainge not wanting to do Nets pick+THE Terry Rozier for George or Butler.I got that from your post. :P
That picture is just more evidence for my statement, though. And they didn't even have the courtesy to do it as +/- per game, much less per 100 possessions. Gah, lazy from the guys who should know better. I know they are doing it for the clicks, but still!
By Kibner Go To PostCavs not missing.
It's been nuts. Same as game 1, even their scrubs are draining shots, and it's not like they aren't being defended. Just everything hitting rim rolls in.

It's been a decade, people are still taking everything I say seriously. You'd think they know by now
How much time do you think the Cavs spend practicing their hysterical freak outs after a foul? Because they never take a play off there, their intensity is something to see.
With 5 minutes left in the first half, the Raptors get their first free throw. Just one, because the refs gave Love a tech for yelling at them.
Halfway through the 4th quarter of game 1 FTs were 25-10 in favour of Cleveland. Man, I can't wait for this series to go back to Toronto so the reffing gets slightly less one-sided.

RAPTORS GET A 2 SHOT FOUL ZOMG
First of the game. There are 90 seconds left in the first half.
I hate being the complain about the refs guy, I really do. But like, why does Lebron need this shit to get rigged like that? His team is already good enough.

By kjack Go To PostI mean, you don't actually SEE your team getting uncalled fouls, so stop being so incredibly salty.
I...don't understand what this sentence means. I've seen plenty of calls not being made under the rim. The refs saw the imbalance and suddenly started calling them in the last 3 minutes to narrow the FT gap before the half. Same thing they did in game 1, where they called a bunch against Cleveland in garbage time.
I don't think this is anything unique to my team, the NBA has been doing it for glamour teams forever, and getting the game called your team's way is part of home court. But it doesn't mean it's not annoying AF to watch when it's that one-sided. The Cavs are unconscious from 3, they don't need the help.
wait are people really entertaining the idea of celtics being legit? they would be home now if rondo never got hurt
