Apparently the Knicks didn't know KP was gonna play for Latvia in Eurobasket untill he announced it in a press conference over there... Fix this shit.
Way too many words of Kobe-Wade writing about himself: https://www.theplayerstribune.com/dion-waiters-miami-heat-nba-is-lucky/
Can I be honest with you, though?lmao
When Pat said “world-class shape,” I thought it sounded cool, but in my head, I was like, Yeah, I got this. I’m in world-class shape. You already know.
So I show up for camp, and after one week, my body is shot. I was damn near throwing up in trash cans like in the movies.
And I realized, You know what? Pat was not just talking that smooth talk. This Heat thing is the real deal.
When I went down with a groin injury in November and missed 20 games, I was seething. We slipped to 11-30, and everybody had given up on us. People were saying we should tank for a pick.
Haaaaa.
Come on, man.
As long as I’m on the floor, you know what we’re not doing.
C'mon Adam. You know you can't resist dat interior scoring. Dat community involvement. Dat opposition to Erdogan.
Those are the towns that are interested in hosting the Pels G-League team. I'm selfishly pulling for Baton Rouge since it is closest. Would also offer higher quality basketball than LSU.

Wasn't somebody stalking Boozer a few years ago? like ship fan fics and the whole 9
I am 50/50 that's the real reason he skipped the interview
Yeah as much as he talks up the Heat I think he's about to get paid by Philly. I also think Riley is full of shit and is very much gonna make a bid for a whale, too many of them in play for him to sit on his hands with that Bosh cap space.

Neil Olshey, the team’s president of basketball operations, said the Blazers will not pick up the one-year option on Ezeli, who did not play this season because of a left knee injury that eventually required season-ending surgery. Ezeli, who made about $7 million this season, has $1 million guaranteed for next season whether the Blazers keep him or not.http://www.csnnw.com/portland-trail-blazers/olshey-festus-ezeli-wont-return-trail-blazers-next-season
“We stay in contact with Festus, giving him full organizational support in his rehab, but we can’t have that kind of risk again,’’ Olshey said. “To have a roster spot in a critical position for someone we are not … we don’t have a body of work with him.’’

Wasn't the surgery and injury known when they signed him?
I think it was known that he had knee issues, but I don't think they expected him to miss the entire season and having to resort to a cadaver harvest for ligaments. They gambled that he would be back sometime during the season and contribute as a defensive big, and obviously that didn't pan out, but that's why the contract was non-guaranteed as well.

So who is betting that Magic trades Ingram, Russell, Randle, and Nance for one year of George? I think it's pretty likely.

I honestly want it to happen. For the lulz.
But i don't see it.

Wasn't clear on this during the season, but apparently Russ can sign his designated player extension this offseason for 5 years/$220 million. It would make him the highest-paid player in the league.
Not sure when he can first sign it, but our offseason and next few years of the franchise hinge around that.

I had to think of some of the different Slavic ways to say friend. I wasn't sure what you were so Polish seemed to be my best guess.
Big offseason questions.
Will the Clippers break up this summer?
Where will Paul George go?
YNB has an opt out clause next season, so does OKC try to sign another extension this offseason to keep him?
Will DMC re-sign?
Will Toronto re-sign Ibaka and Tucker and try again, or make major changes?
Will LMA get traded by the Spurs?
Can the Warriors afford to keep Livingston, having to resign both KD and Steph super maxes, or using the new veteran clause off the salary cap?
What RFAs will get PAID? Otto Porter, KCP, Roberson, Nerlens Noel, etc.

By blackace Go To PostDMC is signed through next season.. so I don't know if the off season will resolve that..My bad I thought he had a opt out at the last year,
Nearly every player has that now.

Just for the fact I think it would help boost interest in the Pels over time. Or at least NBA basketball in general.
I can't say how many times even sports bars around here in Baton Rouge just don't even care to put a Pels game on.

Yes I think Blake stays, Doc and CP3 goes
LA or Boston. LA if they can come away with this year's pick, Boston if Ainge stops being cheap with his offer
Yes Russ is gonna want to be paid like the MVP
Yes, he's gonna want that money.
Yes and No. they traded to much for Ibaka to walk. PJ could get more on a younger team to be a "leader" and I feel like the Knicks/wolves might give him some money to be that and play defense.
No but I expect some roleplayers to get moved for some late 1st rounders who become HOF players by the time their careers are over
If their is a way yes, even top heavy team needs a reliable cast of roleplayers.
Otto and KCP will get paid, Roberson will hit the market, Noel will stay at a cheaper than max deal. My pick for most underrated RFA..... Joe Ingles

PJ literally got traded to a play off team to end his career on. Like he'll re-sign with anyone that's a playoff team.

No lie, these new Hornets unis are best in the league.
So does the 17 man roster kick in this year or next year? Because the 2nd round is going to take on a whole new level of relevance going forward.
Also explains why so many fringe guys are declaring, better to get paid to play in the D league early so teams are invested in you from day 1.

Kind of hoping Jack Tunney will take the microphone before the game stating the winner tonight wins the series.
If the first round can't be a five-game series, they need to stick to games every other day at least.
