By diehard Go To PostSuns players are legit out here trying to hurt Jazz players smh
Not as if Jazz players need help with that.
By diehard Go To Postif we get this Rubio in the reg season.. whewIf only you played the Suns every game
I didn't make this, but if anyone wants a printable NBA schedule, here ya go: http://vrowl.com/2017-18-nba-print-schedules
By shun Go To PostA full season of Nurkic, McCollum, and Lillard together will get them to the 4-5 seed.Possibly.
But unless they figure out how to defense they're not going anywhere in the play offs.
Not saying that they will go far. But I like them better than OKC to be honest both in the regular season and in the playoffs.
I don't think OKC is built for the playoffs with their group right now. The minute something goes awry, that team is got those fuck you got mine types that will have no trouble clocking out or blaming a teammate. There is no chemistry between 3 ISO, me first players, unless YNB somehow finds a way to let everyone eat, including himself.
If the Nuggets can find a ball handler better than deadass Jameer Nelson, they're pretty scary too if Gary Harris improves more this year, and between Millsap and Jokic.
The biggest redeeming thing about Julius Randle is that he inspired DeMarcus Cousins to stop being fat. A lean DMC.

Apparently Fultz's right arm is really bothering him and that's why he changed his FT form: https://www.theringer.com/nba/2017/10/10/16452324/markelle-fultz-free-throw-shoulder
never in a million years would I have traded a valuable pick to go from Fox or DSJ to Fultz
I really don't understand how some of these people have jobs

The bit at the end about Simmons' inability to shoot perhaps being linked to the fact that he's a lefty but shoots right handed. 😬
By Moris Go To PostThe bit at the end about Simmons' inability to shoot perhaps being linked to the fact that he's a lefty but shoots right handed. 😬Not uncommon. Lebron is a lefty but shoots right handed.
By shun Go To PostNot saying that they will go far. But I like them better than OKC to be honest both in the regular season and in the playoffs. So far Melo looks like he fits much better than PG, which is extremely surprising tbh (obviously far too early to tell anything for sure). He's seemingly embracing the Olympic Melo/PF role, including lots of shots off the catch. How well things go will largely depend on Donovan figuring out the right rotations.

That said there should always be one of Russ, Melo or PG on the floor at any given time. We should feast on most second units. And we should be able to go with any of those guys (or two of them) with defenders all around and still be efficient enough on offense. That was the formula last year when we were so effective in crunch time.
It will take time to figure out the team identity though. I'm expecting growing pains.

I don't even know how this works or happens.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postif Russ could channel more of that energy into defense it would be extremely helpfulTheoretically he should be able to with less of the offensive load on him. Doubt it though. He'll continue to be the same high-risk defender he's always been.
I feel like just Roberson, George and Adams should be enough for our starting unit to be competent on D against most teams.
By Smokey Go To PostI don't even know how this works or happens. It happened with Ricky Rubio, too. He's a lefty, but his dad and youth coaches made him shoot right handed. I don't get it.
Fultz altering his FT form due to an injury in preseason sounds like real bad management. Why is he even taking the court if he can't lift his arm comfortably above his head?

But why

WTF is going on in Boston? Rozier must have a Steve Jobs-level reality distortion field.

Idk
Last night for example my son was throwing this plastic ball at his basketball goal with some force. He is CLEARLY right handed. As he gets older I'd think he'd know his strong hand and question why somebody is trying to make him shoot (not layup or dribble) primarily with his offhand. Unless he broke his right hand and was forced to do everything with left, then I can understand that situation.
By knux-future Go To Postthis happened to me.

Pls explain, legit curious .
By Smokey Go To PostIdkMy grandmother used to make me switch things to my right hand despite being "proficient" with my left when I was younger. No one knows why. unfortunately, it simply makes me do various tasks with my right hand as if it as my left hand, so I write in a really weird manner apparently. SO in the end I am not ambidextrous but rather mediocre at best with either hand lol.

I couldn't shoot for shit until I jacked up my left hand and had to learn how to shoot righty.
It feels easier, like once you build the form its as if that arm is dedicated to it and not too much else. I never over think shooting anymore.

Because being left handed makes you either gay or a practitioner of black magic. Everybody knows that.

By reilo Go To PostNot uncommon. Lebron is a lefty but shoots right handed.Larry Bird as well...
By giririsss Go To PostMay not be uncommon, but it defies normal logic.Kinda.... but seems to be the norm in a lot of sports like baseball. Learning mechanics of shooting and throwing or whatever is hard when your coach is right handed and you are not. I think many lefties learn how to do stuff with their right because everything is made for righties

It doesn't make a ton of sense, you should still be able to learn the form and stuff. You just have to mirror it. I don't know any cricketers that have really had that issue.
And as far as equipment goes ... basketballs / baseballs / baseball bats are all "neutral".
Makes a bit more sense for something like golf.
By giririsss Go To Post/me shrugMy brother is a lefty and just mirroring doesn't work that well... lol mechanics at higher levels is very different... most left handed shooters have ugly form
