By giririsss Go To PostIt's a really bad sign. If the pels start bad Gentry will be done before 2018 :|I mean, they blitzed them in the first quarter. They also were playing a bunch of new guys with the main four that didn't play for them last season. Cunningham didn't get much run, Clark and Crawford were barely out there. And those guys are going to be getting more minutes for the team than Diallo and probably Miller. It was a lot of experimenting with different things.
When the main guys were on the floor together they looked good. I'm not going to get too worried over a pre-season game's result. I liked the way the offense was initiated and ran in the first half. They stalled, settled, and were stagnant too much in the third quarter. Defense was an issue (specifically open 3s) but they were good on that end last season so I'm not too worried about that until it becomes a trend.
The Bulls shot 46% from 3 on 35 attempts tonight. I don't expect that to be a consistent thing for them.
