By s y Go To PostNot if the Lakers keep their pick.
OK here is a hypothetical if the lakers don't keep their pick does Ball slide out of the top 3 based on teams not wanting to deal with the Fuckery?
People are saying Bos has been high on Ball too.. and the Suns. But I would say there is almost 0 chance he falls out of the 3 spot at this point..
By blackace Go To PostI think the Lakers will end up with 1 and take Ball tho lol
/shakes fist

Morr high on Jackson. (After fultz, ofc)
I have my concerns about Jackson.. Tiny hands being one of them. That seems to be bad for basket ball players.
I certainly prefer Jackson over Ball tho.

The idea of Ball / Booker seems to be growing on the Suns a bit at least..

Where'd you see that? Just wanted to read it.
Ball just doesn't seem to be a certified upgrade over Bledsoe. Where as TJ Warren hasn't made the SF spot his. And the PF spot is still wide open.
It's why I envisioned Tatum being a little higher. But His lack of athleticism / defense seems to have people wary.
It is mostly mocks so they don't speak directly for the team...

And even then, relatively split (Though ball favored).
It's weird seeing people justify ball because they need to score more.
I think they were ok there. THey were just atrocious defensively. Weren't even trying to stop people.
I don't even want the Lakers pick...we don't need to add too many more rookies...and Colangelo would totally take Markannan.
By domino Go To Postif we really take Ball im prepared for an extended stay in the murkNo matter who you draft, you should prepare to stay bad for three more seasons.
By Kibner Go To PostNo matter who you draft, you should prepare to stay bad for three more seasons. It wasn't until Durants 3rd or 4th year in the NBA that they made the play offs?
Building through the draft ... takes 5 - 7 years.
By blackace Go To Post3rd year.. so next year is Booker's 3rd year.oh. We 8th seed baby!
...
If Bender turns into AK47/KP over the off season.
I don't see anyway the top 3 picks arent Fultz, Lonzo, and Jackson. I'm in the mindset of if you don't get a top 3 you might be better off trading that pick. i don't really care much for tatum or isaac. If Fultz is gone I could see the Suns taking Ball, UCLA connection with Watson, pass first point guard they can market as the next jkidd or nash (sarver will love this, especially him already being a household name). Also, they've put emphasis about the character and attitude of players, I could see them looking at the court drama that jackson is already involved in and being concerned.
Blackace is right this lottery is going to be nuts, literally game changing for a franchise, especially looking at the celtics who could potentially be a one seed adding the number 1 pick in a highly hyped draft. I'll be devastated if we don't get a top 3 pick after the absolutely shit season we had, and if Bknight is on the team on top of it??

I'm so numb that the lottery doesn't even matter. The Wolves will fall to 7th, take a bad player that Thibs will forcibly keep in the rotation and then he'll just keep spinning his wheels and justifying why it's actually a multiyear rebuilding project (and he's totally a better coach than Smitch, the guys just don't get it).

I don't know.. I think the top 10 are pretty hype this year, if you need help at the G position..
Jayson Tatum would be a decent fit if the Suns fell to 4th or 5th...

Dude's 19. He'll be fine.
They need to stop running him at the 3 though. It's just dumb and he isn't a wing. He's a 4 / 5. When he plays 4/5 he looks like he belongs. He plays SF and he's worse than Bennet.
By giririsss Go To PostWe wrote Blake off after his first season?Bender kept getting hurt tho Blake had a big injury and took the year off... not quite the same. But Chriss just looks like the better player to me

That would actually be a really fun team to watch. But you know who's leaving DJ Magazine-approved Toronto to live in the Phantom Zone that is Milwaukee?
Nobody, that's who.
By giririsss Go To PostChriss is basically Hakeem Warrick 2.0.Disagree with this, Chriss showed a lot of potential in the second half of the season. He isn't much older than Bender so to right him off is unfair. Hopefully they both end up being good but right now house money is on Chriss to be better.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostThat would actually be a really fun team to watch. But you know who's leaving DJ Magazine-approved Toronto to live in the Phantom Zone that is Milwaukee?Toronto / Lowry is a breakup that needs to happen but neither side will just be the bigger party and call it off

Develop both. I think Brown a better 2 than he is a 3.
By DY_nasty Go To PostToronto / Lowry is a breakup that needs to happen but neither side will just be the bigger party and call it off
That would be a huge mistake. They won't have any cap space even if they let him walk outright, you'd be losing an all star asset for nothing.
That Zach Lowe article lays out the probable move:
Ujiri has always erred on the side of retaining players, even if it's just to trade them later – as he famously did with Nene Hilario in Denver.
I'm confident Lowry will be an All-Star-level player for the next two seasons, maybe three. He has fewer miles on the odometer than the typical 31-year-old. Shooting sustains.
Re-sign him, let him keep carrying you to the playoffs, see how good/reliable the three PGs behind him can get, and trade him down the line while other teams see he can still play. There will always be a GM who's 3 months away from being fired and will make a move for a name guy like that to save his season. Even if he does turn out to be an injury risk, Joseph's shown he's a capable caretaker PG.
It's not even like you can't win with Lowry, they just clearly need another piece. Even without one, I have little doubt this team could have beat Boston and made the conference finals again if they'd drawn that matchup. I no longer have any delusions that anyone's knocking over the Cavs any time soon, so I'm not really sweating that finals appearance.
this is what i mean
stay together until you start throwing stuff and calling each other's parents saying the other person ain't shit

If he can get a little bigger and start using his natural talents for rebounding he could be a solid player

In order for a player to qualify for the super super max, they need to have made an all nba team the final year of their contract or the previous year? Or is making an All NBA team just one of the ways to qualify for a super max?
By s y Go To PostIn order for a player to qualify for the super super max, they need to have made an all nba team the final year of their contract or the previous year? Or is making an All NBA team just one of the ways to qualify for a super max?
Eligibility: only players entering their 8th or 9th seasons with their original franchise or if they were traded to existing team during first four years of career are eligible.https://16winsaring.com/the-nba-cba-explaining-the-designated-player-veteran-extension-and-choice-615f76872fb9
Qualifications: players have to satisfy one of the following:
1. Made one of the three all-NBA teams in season preceding the extension or in 2 of the previous 3 seasons.
2. Earned league defensive player of the year (DPOY) honors in the season preceding the extension or in 2 of the previous 3 seasons.
3. Earned league most valuable player (MVP) honors in any of the 3 seasons preceding the extension.
The Bucks actually would be the perfect spot for Lowry. He can get his max there. And the Bucks don't have to really worry about saving money for a better free agent--it's going to be so tough to lure talent there that they shouldn't even hesitate to nab him.
I'm not sure many other teams should even have interest honestly.

Jazz should have interest in Lowry i would think.
oh yea, forgot about them--that's a good fit too, though playoff lowry in the west is really scary to think about
Jazz and Milwaukee will be the two he has to make a decision on I think, depending on if Toronto decides to offer max

Only way Lowry is getting a ring in the next few years is to sign for a huge discount in GS or CLE.
If he thinks the East is tough because of Bron, he's gonna go cry in the car after a series against the Warriors.
