By Dark PhaZe Go To Posti thought it was more like 40 million a yeari think it's actually 35 next season and increasing from there
By Moris Go To Postbut your pick is gone anyways
Would very much appreciate Magic and Rob not gutting the team, let's get our 27 wins this season and see who is available next off season.
By Fenderputty Go To PostNets should offer him that …I'm kinda torn about it. We could always use a historic sharpshooter, and he'd be a good locker room presence and mentor for the young guys.
On the other hand our roster overflows with guards and there's all kinds of other stuff we could do with cap space that might land us young assets.
Maybe offer him 3 years 16m and if he finds a better offer or prefers a different spot no big deal.

You can't really tank for at least two more years. Seem like a good shooter to pair with D'lo. Make those pick you owe as worthless as possible. lol
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostSurprised yall have no interest in T-Hard.Like I said our cup overfloweth with shooting guards. If we get one it's going to be a vet who can be a good influence on D'Angelo and others.

His goal is to do what's best for the Nets and not what's worst for the Celtics.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostBut.
1. Rubio is available and good.
2. Rubio has a 2 year, $29 million contract
3. George Hill will get more than $25m a year and Hill will not be good by two or three years from now.
Your team can't score. Hayward already carries a lot of the scoring load for your team. And you have a hard ass coach who makes everybody bust their asses on D. Taking away a guy who can at least shoot for a guy who can't means your sales pitch is effectively "come back, Gordon and work even harder for that second round knockout." Meanwhile Boston is cruising to the conference finals letting guys hide in the corner half the game.
You guys need a serious trade to balance the roster more and give a fresh look to come at him with.

D'lo and JJ are a good starting foundation though.
Well actually now that I think of it we have been mentioned in connection to KCP but I'm not sure if that's just his agent trying to drive up his value.
"Give my client a good deal now before Brooklyn fucks your cap."

By Fenderputty Go To PostD'lo and JJ are a good starting foundation though.I do know that the front office has expressed a lot of interest in JJ so they might agree.
If I had to throw a "fuck it" max out there as a young team with limited assets, I'd probably choose Hardaway Jr over Porter and KCP tbh.
I know its going to happen but just a warning, ever damn year we flip out about the size of the contracts guys get. People are going to get PAAAID, let's at least keep it to a "hmm that seems like a bit much for him, i don't know about that one" and not a "LOOOOOOOL (insert team)" maybe?
note: the above does not apply to Dion Waiters.

According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, Steve Mills will likely be named New York's president of basketball operations if the Knicks hire David Griffin as GM.Just hire Griffin and get it over with. He actually wants the job eyes wide shut.
Griffin appears to be the leading candidate for the Knicks job at the moment, as the Knicks have reportedly told teams they are no longer pursuing Toronto's Masai Ujiri. Griffin, the former GM of the Cavs, has already spoken with New York and the two sides are expected to have additional meetings in the coming days.
