I think you sign Blake over Hakeem Warrick any day.
By giririsss Go To PostYeah heard that.
Maybe Lou should pay attention. Analytics just won 2 chips in 3 years.
And he's now on team number …. 6?
This is on the same level as the "How's it goink?" tweet.
Former Cleveland Cavaliers general manager David Griffin will interview for the New York Knicks’ vacant position of team president, Amico Hoops sources confirmed Thursday night.

By Ramona ShelburneThe New York Knicks are not expected to request permission from the Toronto Raptors to speak with Masai Ujiri.
Ujiri recently signed an extension with the Raptors and the Knicks would likely need to send draft and cash compensation to Toronto.
Ujiri was reportedly a preferred candidate of the Knicks. Ujiri successfully negotiated trades against the Knicks involving Carmelo Anthony and Andrea Bargnani.
The Raptors hired Ujiri away from the Nuggets in 2013.
New York is searching for a replacement for Phil Jackson.

And sounds like they're not bothering with unrealistic free agents this off season (they're saving that for next year!) and will actually try to add one or 2 mid level free agents quickly.
I'm interested in seeing who the new regime thinks is a good fit.
don't we have like $20m in cap space?
throw that money on a 1yr contract to the best shooter available.
also,

also,
The Bulls really have no use for Rajon Rondo when they have Kris Dunn. Just like he did with Ricky Rubio, Dunn would've just supplanted him anyway.

If Boston trades for George, they will do so knowing he could be a rental. That limits the price they are willing to pay. Despite reports to the contrary, Boston has not included any of the following in its offers to the Pacers, per league sources: Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, the 2018 Nets pick, and the Lakers-Kings pick Boston snared from Philly in the Markelle Fultz blockbuster.Marcus Smart sucks, but it's basically what the Rockets gave up for Chris Paul.
My best guess on Boston's standing George offer: Jae Crowder, Smart and Indiana's choice of protected first-round picks Boston owns from the Clippers and Grizzlies.
A semi-plausible scenario to get us a second star would be getting in on a PG-Cavs trade as the third team. Reunite Russ with Love.
Not sure what Indy would want from us in that scenario (probably Adams but maybe we could get away with offering Oladipo and Sabonis)?
It's a pipe dream, but probably more realistic than arranging the space for Blake to come back to OKC.

Wait, why are we keeping Boris Diaw.
Diaw isn't close to an NBA player, he can't defend, can't make layups, and shoots 25% from three.
I'm really confused here.

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostwaitYes, Adams and Oladipo extensions kick in this offseason, plus we're still paying Kanter like $17 million.

By AlphaSnacks Go To PostGriffin to interview for Knicks job…
Hmmmm.
I'm a little skeptical of that dude. He was doing things that New Yorkers know are only possible with Lebron, like building a team with Shump, JR & Frye on it.
wiz offering a protected first and an otto sign and trade for george
i would do it even as a rental
if george leaves then trade john and rebuild/tank, fuck it

If that's not asset management, I don't know what is.
Is Ingles really this good or was it just a 1 year thing? Man he made himself so much money this year.
We are desperately trying to trade for Ricky Rubio and his 2 year, $29 million contract and Hayward is like "no, you should sign Hill to a 4 year, $100 million contract."
Gordon, why are you doing this.
George Hill will not be a starting PG by the third and fourth years of that contract.

Hayward would not be trying to force Hill to Utah if he wasn't going to extend there should such a move be made.
It's shitty, but overpaid Hill + extended Hayward is better than losing Hayward.

I don't know if you've noticed, but nobody seems to respect Ricky Rubio. Butler started trying to replace him the second he got traded there.
Well, Rubio is good though. George Hill is also good... now, but Hill is going to be pretty bad in two years.
rodeo, send me your essays on Rubio so I can forward them to Hayward.

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postnot with DSJ on the roster
Their plan according to Draftexpress was to do a two point guard lineup this year and have DSJ learn from JRue.
