Rooting for Utah so hard here.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostLooks like Minny has like $14 million in cap space? Not sure what obligations they have for that already. They can get down to $23M in cap space by renouncing cap holds on players that won't be back anyway (Payne, Shabazz, etc).
I can't say the idea of giving Kyle Lowry a max contact excites me.
What makes Dolan think he can poach all these unavailable dudes who know that he'd fire them within a few years anyway?
By rodeoclown Go To PostJust as strange as when LMA had interest with them.
The Suns?
By livefromkyoto Go To PostI guess he likes Phoenix:Boston?!
By domino Go To PostOh fuck Phoenix is gonna rebuild BlakeWhen you think about it in terms of him trying to stay on the court, Phoenix does make a lot of sense then, yeah.
By diehard Go To PostBaron Davis is in SLC to help Exum with his workouts… what?
B.Diddy was a great PG
By Kuma Go To PostB.Diddy was a great PGI know its just really random. What's their connection? Why would he come to Salt lake?
New York? lol that's the first I've heard that from Blake. Gotta mention NY when it's contract time. Can't namedrop them early.

The Suns?
Great medical staff for an injury prone guy.
Great back court. Lots of depth. Desperately looking for the front court guy that they can run things through / with to balance our the roster.
Blake would be great and elevate the team a lot.
Plus Booker would be the best player he's played with. Jackson might also be the best wing he's played with.

"That .293 season was just a fluke. We're deep and great, honestly."
By livefromkyoto Go To Post"That .293 season was just a fluke. We're deep and great, honestly."It is a deep team.
I didn't say a GOOD deep team.
I mean, we've got like 6 point/combo guards!! 6!!!
But with some seriousness.
I can see why he'd be interested:
Booker is shaping up to be a really really good player.
Suns have assets / pieces to move to get complimentary parts. There's a lot of youth with lots of potential. And vets with value.
He would be a major focal point on offense. And given Bledsoes ... short comings as a play maker, you'd see the ball more in blakes hands.
He'd have no competition for touches in the front court.
Suns medical staff are his best chance of playing over 75games and being healthy for the play offs.

By Kabro Go To PostHopefully he won't call reporters Mexican idiots this time
Anyone who takes that position will be a figurehead anyway. Mills is Dolan's proxy and he's still the GM and will be the GM until the end of time without Phil's particular brand of crazy to overshadow him.
By pilonv1 Go To Postoh poor you
my long national nightmare is over
Yeah it sounds like Coach Cal hasn't learned the right lessons from his last fling with the NBA temptress.
By Jonm Go To PostYeah it sounds like Coach Cal hasn't learned the right lessons from his last fling with the NBA temptress.
Sounds like a perfect fit to me. Do it, Dolan!

I know he was a MSG in the past but we don't know how it will be under a new pres. besides Cal isn't some timid dude.... Not going to shit on it off rip

By livefromkyoto Go To PostRooting for Utah so hard here.
Windhorst is "reporting" that the Rockets are hoping Hayward stays in Utah because Boston will give up much less for George without another star. It feels dirty, but diehard you have my axe.
By DY_nasty Go To PostLou Williams hasn't even unpacked and he's already shootingwas listening to Lowe Post and apparently Lou blocked him? looool
By pkaz01 Go To PostSo sign blake and trade chriss? Hmm its riskyWhat Risk?

He's sort of wrong tho...a lot of TV analysts are former players (pro, college, or high school). Just sayin.
