By IWMTB19 Go To Post6 years after CP3 was traded for Eric Gordon, they're finally on the same team.for now
Just keep Joe Ingles away from him
Wolves would have to renounce everyone or trade Rubio to sign him..

By pkaz01 Go To PostClippers just got fucked so hard.. manThey really didnt.
By Doomsayer Go To PostWith that said though, the Rockets didn't really have to give up a whole lot for CP3. Which is kind of insane to me.
Beverly and Lou Williams is a pretty decent haul for anyone looking to remain competitive.
By diehard Go To PostThey really didnt. They lost their 3 best players in one off season cause they all didnt want to come back. I mean its their fault for not blowing it up sooner but still is a hard pounding
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostBeverly and Lou Williams is a pretty decent haul for anyone looking to remain competitive. No way the Clips stay competitive. I doubt Blake sticks around and the rest of the guys on the Clippers aren't leading them to a winning season. Williams will probably get moved again. For someone as good as Lou, he sure does bounce around.

It remains to be seen if they lose their second best or what they will choose to do with their third.
Their fourth best did leave, though.
By Fenderputty Go To PostClarkson for Lou Will:lol
I'm trying to think of any team that actually makes sense to throw big money at Blake and I'm coming up (mostly) blank.
Miami? OKC? Portland?
Crazy that his stock has fallen so much in the past few years.

Hello, fellow loserbro.
Nice to join you guys again. :'(
Blake's freak injuries have hosed him.
By jjasper Go To PostLooks like Bobby Marks is coming with Woj. No Mannix though
Shams?

Time to hop back on that treadmill…

Well, this is on the RealGM wiretap:
"The Los Angeles Clippers believe they will be able to re-sign Blake Griffin following their trade of Chris Paul.
Griffin and Paul were both scheduled to be free agents and it was unclear if they would re-sign both players.
Griffin is expected to receive interest from the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat."
I don't get what they're doing though. They were a first round KO with Paul, why are they not just gong full rebuild? S&T what's still functional in Blake's lower body.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostJust realized Harden will never win MVP now.
He finished 2nd in MVP voting two out of the last three years, that's pretty good.
By rodeoclown Go To PostLowe says the Rockets have to make other moves to even make the Paul trade work. They have to shed salary. What young assets can we relieve them of in a salary dump?
Which I assume means Ryan Anderson?

"I'll take factoids nobody ever has and nobody ever will care about for $400, Alex."
lakers are fucked--its looking increasingly less likely that george is in a laker uniform, they should have went all in while they had the chance, its probably too late now

Pretty sure they can get George now if they're willing to trade Ingram or Ball.

neither of those packages really compares to what Boston can bring to the table
the only leg up they had was him being dead set on playing on the lakers regardless of the roster quality--with that not being the case there's no way they can beat a Boston offer.
if the celtics get George I'd leave the wiz or look for a trade if I'm Wall btw.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostTo compete? Don't think they'll beat the Warriors but it's cool to see them going all in.
What is the fucking point.

Carmelo adds negative value to a team with Harden and CP3.
I don't see anything Carmelo brings over Ryan Anderson.
By Omzz Go To PostThought this was the Nets/Wizards guy but I was wrong. Giving a a guy straight out of Europe that much is interesting I guess.

use it or lose it, better to get a player in and developing ASAP

Having no depth and a big 3 is 5 years ago type shit
Paul, Harden, George with scrubs is really not that big an upgrade over what they had last year.
In todays NBA you have to add the star talent while maintaining the depth.

By IWMTB19 Go To PostCarmelo adds negative value to a team with Harden and CP3.Now that's just hyperbole. Melo's a better passer and rebounder than Ryan Anderson can ever hope to be.
