It's hard to gauge where Dolans head is on this one. He could be impatient with Phils youth movement and bring in Billy King to trade 4 draft picks and the souls of 10000 Knick fans for Paul George or he could simply dislike the media spectacle Phil created with Melo and KP situations, most likely it's a troll and he's he's just gonna throw more support behind Phil. Whatever it is I'm expecting the worst. I just want Melo and Phil gone dammit...
Imagine if the Knicks brought back the same roster and won 50 games just by not playing the triangle
By masud Go To PostNo more triangle. No more Rambis. We free.yeah but Porzingis said he don't like Hornacek so you still need to look for a fuckin coach and Kristaps still fuckin leaving.
This shit is bitter sweet. Jax is a crazy person and his ass had to go but we're still starting over again with no real direction. If I had to guess Dolans stooge Mills is gonna be in charge again which doesn't instill a lot of confidence. I'm curious to see what kind of influence Melo is gonna have. Knicks will probably annonce a new Jersey with a CAA patch on the shoulder tomorrow...

you can love it all you want, dolan is still in charge. nothing you do will get better until dolan leaves. If he loves new york so much brooklyn is in a better state now and in the future.
So what was this about Porzingis not hating Hornecek and that the issue isn't franchise wide?
By shun Go To Post[Gambodoro] Porzingis hates Hornacek, has unreported medical issues that Knicks are wary about on his radio showNot really... Dolan basketball wise was the perfect owner under Phil if he does that under the right GM they will be fine

Oh you just trying to troll. Do you.
I love how this shit is breaking at 3 in the morning. Zues is gonna flip when he wakes up.
Seems like there's plenty of things the Knicks could have done in the last 2 years that could have been done better
By Branduil Go To PostSeems like if you were gonna fire him you should have done it before the draft, not after.Knicks gonna Knicks.
By Switchpro Go To Postcould Boston with PG and Hayward push the Cavs to 6?I think that team give Cle some problems
Knicks fans celebrating even though Dolan is the real villain and isn't going anywhere.
Hard to believe they would have taken Ntilikina instead of DSJ if Phil hadn't been in charge.
What an absolute dumpster fire.

By masud Go To PostGod exists.
Dolan had the right idea with Phil: hire somebody and get out of the way. The problem is he hired Phil, who wasn't prepared for or interested in actually being an NBA GM. I don't know, I'm not somebody that normally dogpiles the Knicks, but Phil was this kind of sideshow that quickly reached the status of "I believe everything I read" because the real thing was so outlandish at times.
I wonder if they will actually not be dumb and try for another "big" name. Stop thinking you have to be special and just get some dude that spent a lot of time with the Spurs, like everyone else is doing.
I could actually see Masai jumping at that. He's done as much as he could in Toronto and rebuilding the Knicks could give him god-like status. I mean, he did get out of Denver right before they had to rebuild...
By diehard Go To PostPhil was just extended 2 months ago? lolBefore the "exit interview" Porzingis/last couple shots at Carmelo happened. So yeah, last straw.
By Fenderputty Go To PostThe melo buyout was the straw? It might have contributed, though the KP trade shit was really it. Dolan has been "averse" to buying out Carmelo Anthony, which is funny because by being hands-off through the whole process he's kinda saying he's ok with shitting on him by proxy.
