Really?
REALLY, MAGIC?
Now watch him trade all this trash for Paul George.
By blackace Go To Posttbf Magic took over around the ASGHe was pulling them strings when he met Jeanie for dinner after the wedding was off.

The Lakers only have a 46% chance of keeping their picks this summer and in 2019. Magic lives on the edge.
picked a battle with some peeps on r/nba and they still use ppg as a barometer in deciding who's a better player lolololollol

Is r/nba as bad as ISH, RealGM, or GAF sometimes?
By Adam Blade Go To PostIs r/nba as bad as ISH, RealGM, or GAF sometimes?According to that post, probably.
"It's now going on 13 years of losing; I'm sick of it after one," Thibodeau said. "There has to be more. If we want to change it, the determination has to be greater."The players don't suck, the coach isn't doing a bad job, they just have to want it more.
Should've thought of that 13 years ago.
hey guys. I've been waiting for yall.
I should be okay with whatever happens this draft
inb4 we draft Harry Giles

By Adam Blade Go To PostIs r/nba as bad as ISH, RealGM, or GAF sometimes? This place is better than all those which is why I started posting here in the first place. This is one of only two places I have found with good nba discussion.
I really hope the Sixers get both picks. Just to watch the world burn and because the Sixers deserve something nice like coming away with DeAaron Fox and Jason Tatum.
It is weird that teams didn't tank more aggressively with years of revenue on the line like it was with the Lakers. With the Knicks fine, I get it, when Phil Jackson talks about the Basketball Gods those are actual entities that he believes he needs to avoid angering. But it's weird from other franchises. The only thing I can think of is that the coaches aren't willing to ride all the way down to hell with their GMs.
By Adam Blade Go To PostIs r/nba as bad as ISH, RealGM, or GAF sometimes?
r/nba is massive so im sure there are smart people but just saying something that isn't even that controversial (eg. d'angelo russell is kinda bad and is probably nothing more than a backup/fringe starter) nets you a lot of dummies frothing at the mouth of rage.
gaf is its own ring of stupid tho re bball discussion

I'd like all these top picks to not go to the Atlantic division thx. Hoping for a miracle and someone like Detroit and another team moving up.

oh.
I forgot Ben Simmons existed because I haven't thought about him since like Summer League. That's on me.
If Sixers draft a good guard and stay healthy and make the playoffs next season, does Hinkie get a retroactive GM of the Year Award?
By reilo Go To PostIf Sixers draft a good guard and stay healthy and make the playoffs next season, does Hinkie get a retroactive GM of the Year Award?naw; from this point on Colangelo starts to actually deserve credit for any improvement.
By Fenderputty Go To PostThat was like 1 week before the ASG lolNever you mind that. Magic is shrewd af.
Can we offer Metta some place in the organization pls?
By knux-future Go To Postnaw; from this point on Colangelo starts to actually deserve credit for any improvement.
I don't think so, Ben and this year's rookie are still results from the tank. Coach Brown is still a hinkie hire too right?
If he can make moves that maximize those pieces then yea, otherwise nah
The only consolation to losing this years pick is that we would keep next years pick. If we don't improve a ton over the summer we should have one more good young piece and another year of improvement going into 2019. Hopefully by that time the pick we're giving up isn't as big of a loss.
That's being said it's not much of a consolation. lol

I like how the picture in the op already has Minny 6th, there's no point in having that coin toss, the Knicks already lost.
By masud Go To PostI like how the picture in the op already has Minny 6th, there's no point in having that coin toss, the Knicks already lost.Tankathon lists the Wolves ahead because they ended the season losing a lot of games in a row. The coin flip will be Tuesday on NBA TV. (I'm sure that's riveting television.)
The could win the coin toss and they'd still pick 7th because somebody else moves up. I don't know, I don't really like anybody around that spot. They could take Monk since who knows when LaVine would be available, I guess. That would still require Thibs to play him and he only runs out like 7 guys a night.
By knux-future Go To PostThe Wolves should take Zach Collins.I actually think he's totally the type of big you want to next to Towns. Defense, rebounds, rim protection.
I'd be okay with it.

So after simming the lottery like 1000 times I'm pretty confident that we'll end up with atleast Frank. I guess that's ok...
By ESPNCarmelo Anthony is leaning strongly towards waiving his no-trade clause this offseason.
Anthony said on Wednesday night that he'd "love" to be back, but wants assurances that the Knicks are committed to winning.
Anthony admitted publicly to considering waiving his no-trade clause before this year's deadline.
While Anthony and Phil Jackson have seemed to be at odds, there was also an incident involving Jeff Hornacek. During halftime of a game in March, Hornacek yelled at the Knicks, which triggered a response from Anthony.
Anthony essentially questioned the direction of the entire organization, according to sources. Associate head coach Kurt Rambis fired back, calling out Anthony's effort on defense.

Congrats Knicks fans, your dreams may finally come true.
By blackace Go To PostAny team that could use him wouldn't want to give up what it would cost to get himDepends on how much sage Phil had in his office that day though. Could probably get him for peanuts if Phil is really high.

NFI why, but it seems to reward the guy for the previous year, not jsut hte one he had.

But his last season really won't have drive up his value.
