Curb Your Enthusiasm >>> Seinfield.

Friends is garbage too.
I don't think I've ever laughed in real life at a single joke in Seinfield, I've laughed to near death from Curb multiple times.
They're both great, but it's a matter of taste. Seinfeld is safer and more formulaic because of the format, network and time it was made.
Curb is the pure uncut id of Seinfeld. They also had to elevate their game quite a bit because Seinfeld's concept (a bunch of awful people being awful) has become standard with the likes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I prefer curb only because Seinfeld is really dated, TV has changed so much since then.
Friends is absolute garbage, you're right

1990's network tv on NBC vs. 2000's HBO...... fairly easy to see why people would think that but can't see how you don't like Seinfeld. Thing about Seinfeld is it's perfection on network TV pushing boundaries an what not, the gay episode got a ton of heat, not that theres anything wrong with that.
By Slizz Go To PostEmbarassingSeinfield is better than Everybody Loves Raymond for sure.
This thread is disgusting.
Both shows are great, but the variety of situations in Seinfeld makes it better.
Curb is great, but it's the exact same joke over and over and over.

Absolutely true. I never was able to get into Seinfeld, Jerry is just so fucking annoying. Meanwhile Larry is a God.

Wedward is wrong about most things, but on this he is not. :)))

By s y Go To PostSunny is also exponentially better than SeinfeldNow you're just trolling
By batong Go To PostNow you're just trollingNope. Like I said, never found Seinfeld funny.
Sunny is miles better.
By Smokey Go To PostSeinfeld is garbage. Don't think I've ever laughed at a single joke in that show.Agreed... seeing a trend in here for sure lol
By GQman2121 Go To PostYou blacks are the worst. 👀Michael Richards is that you?
Too many CYE ep's are spent on "oh mah gawd this makes me awkward".
Seinfeld is a very good sitcom.
I'm no diehard seinfeld fan, but CYE is very far from great itself.

He self imploded that night, and hasn't, and doesn't deserve to work in show business again. It was that egregious.
It's a real shame that he ruined the show for so many people though because he's legitimately brilliant on it.

He's a bootleg chinese version. A shit one.
By Pennywise Go To PostCostanza is the better Larry.Noooope
I love both shows, but yeah CYE is better primarily because it's completely unfiltered.
And wow, Randall Park in the "Pussy Rash" episode. I think CYE has produced more celebrities than any other show by giving them little breaks like that. I'll rewatch old episodes and see major stars who were just starting out.
Edit: Also, that's Craig Robinson in the other clip SY posted with Wanda Sykes. Waaaay before he had any fame.
