By giririsss Go To PostYeah. Wasn't a prospect, he got it.It should be great... if Pat comes knocking your door to get you to Gtown as a big man going to be hard to say no..
Hope he makes the most of it. Seems to be a very motivated person in that regard.
By masud Go To PostCongrats Pat. Why has Georgetown sucked recently anyway? They used to be a huge program. Not much talent to go around in the NCAA ranks these days

the bucks don't scare me at all
i'd like to use these last few games trying some different rotations--particularly something with Ian starting at C and maybe Otto at the 4, Kelly starting at the 3.
kyoto it looks like neither of us will get what we want...i'd rather take a respectful loss to the cavs in the second round and you'd rather have boston :(

I think that if ever a guy was a point-forward, it's Giannis. The Bucks' website lists him as a forward-guard. That team is really non-traditional with the way they handle positions, Middleton technically starts at SG but the bulk of the minutes there go to JET & Brogdon when he shifts to off guard. Outside of Air Delly who's always at point, they're all just kind of out there doing what they do.

If we get Chicago in the first round I'm not even making assumptions about the 2nd round. But yeah, I'd take the Celtics all day. I don't think you should worry about them either, once rotations tighten your talent is better than theirs. And I'm pretty skeptical about a 5'8 guy dominating playoff 4th quarters.

If they let both teams play I agree but you know how the refs get whistle happy sometimes

Yesterday, the agent for guard Patricio Garino tweeted out a photo of his client signing a contract with the Orlando Magic. One lil problem: the contract was signed, and the photo taken, in front of a white board apparently showing a bunch of potential free agents and trade targets.

Don't think I've seen this level of " if your friend jumped over a cliff would you do it too?" as it concerns drafting in a while.
There's almost nothing about Ball that jumps out as being elite. He doesn't have elite scoring tools, a lot of his assists are just passes to guys coming off curls, he doesn't have the speed or handle to collapse an NBA defense, his body fucking sucks for a primary ball handler, etc.

hen it comes to the draft board of NBA teams, Markelle Fultz "has a very slight edge" over Lonzo Ball at the top for most teams.
Fultz and Ball are widely expected to be the first two players selected in June's draft.

I mean.. Beas had worlds of talent.. Just he had a better dealer than most 19 year olds..
Beas was also was born roughly 4-5 years too early. When he was drafted, everyone was still all about the biggest, strongest, baddest, slowest Power Forward that posts up other players all the time mindset. Michael Beasley could've made it work in today's NBA if he was drafted in, say, 2013.

But Michael Beasley is in today's NBA. Even though he can shoot he still barely gets 17 mpg.

Not sure if that is true... I mean Bosh / Barg / LMA / Al / Yi were already in the league and drafted in the lottery..and he was drafted with Love.. The NBA was already making the shift to the 4 being a shooter...

Giannis is a shooting guard. Everybody talks about Beasley in the past tense. They win games and the highlights only show the other team. Is there a more off the map team than the Milwaukee Bucks?

By DY_nasty Go To PostThat's why I'm hoping for the best when it comes to Pat. There's a lot more to Georgetown than Xs and Os.
My fear about Pat is that he's not going to do the dirty work of sitting in high school gyms and pumping up kids with even a hint of talent on the hopes that maybe just maybe they might end up being good in a couple of years. Because that's how you gobble up local talent. He's also too close to JT.
Besides that though, if he's willing to grind and let a call or two from JT go to voicemail he's got a lot of potential

JT3 running an outdated ass offense and recruiting all sorry private school kids. if we didn't choke against them in 07 he probably would've been fired years ago. that's his only claim to fame aside from who nuts he came from.
