By reilo Go To PostGondo, is your real name Royce Young? No.
By KingGondo Go To PostNo.
It's just a pseudonym then?
I'm honestly split on YN and Harden for MVP.
Houston and OKC have both surpassed my pre-season expectations.

By Moris Go To PostNah, I mean the pick situation.
By s y Go To PostNah, I mean the pick situation.
If we lose this pick (If its not Top 3) we automatically lose our 2019 1st rounder to Orlando as well.
If we keep our pick (if it is Top 3) we keep our 2019 first and give Orlando a pair of 2nd rounders.
So we got a 56% chance of losing 2 1st rounders on lotto day.

By s y Go To PostWho does this year's Lakers pick go to if thr Lakers lose it? Philly or Phoenix?
Philly, they traded for it from Phoenix.
The Phoenix Suns today completed a deal to acquire guard Brandon Knight from the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team trade also involving the Philadelphia 76ers. The Suns also acquired guard Kendall Marshall, who will be waived. As part of the deal, the Suns send guard Tyler Ennis and center Miles Plumlee to the Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers’ protected 2015 first-round pick to the 76ers; the Bucks also receive guard Michael Carter-Williams from Philadelphia.
Don't know what people would be willing to give up for him. At this point the odds that his career exceeds Bynum's seem iffy at best.

He's a lot more talented than Bynum which is saying something.
Also appears to have his head on straighter. But his body won't cooperate.

I think he just needs to learn his body better, and he's fortunate that its such a focus this early in his career.
A guy not knowing how to land should be able to be fixed if we're teaching players how to run (Turner) these days.
5 years ago he would've been left to play as hard as he wants and die young.

We'll reach a point where the 3 most common scenarios for a severe injury are:
A) Fatigue (NBA is actively trying to fix this) or B) Freak accident (ACL tears ala LaVine) or C) Pure Neglect/Franchise Fukkery

Haha, someone on another forum pointed this out but the first six years of both Kyrie and Agent 0 are nearly identical.
They obviously have completely different styles, but it's funny how similar in effectiveness they were.
By KingGondo Go To PostFor me the clincher is that we would be worse without Westbrook than Houston would be without Harden. The clincher for you is that YNB hasn't left OKC yet.
It's gonna be Harden because of team record.
By Kibner Go To PostThey obviously have completely different styles, but it's funny how similar in effectiveness they were. Both of them are very ball dominant though.

Hibachi was an experience. Such a fun player to watch.
the pacers are going to take a trash offer before the deadline--significantly less than their asking price this year
if the celtics are in line to get anyone other than fultz that pick is getting put on the block faster than IT being guarded by LeBron

By reilo Go To PostHe's been there 17 years. Could just be time for a change (particularly with everyone he knows going).

Lakers are a dumpster fire, which is unfortunate .
By Kabro Go To PostMagic seems like a snake of a business man.I dunno. Getting rid of the old guard that could be more loyal to kupchak and co, and working with his own guys would be better.
Prove me wrong bro.
At least, it should make it a shorter tenure if it all goes bad. Because there will be no excuses.

Just finished the brian windhorst lowe post.
it's really hard to take anything brian windhorst says about cleveland seriously because it's all so tainted. I'm pretty sure he would let LBJ run a train on his wife.
Kyries Shot in game 7 was the most important shot in NBA history.
Apropriating "The Shot".
Just. Ugh.

Windhorst is literally paid to follow LeBron and fellate him at every opportunity. It's so fucking bizarre. I believe ESPN hired him while LeBron was still in high school?
Either way, dude is a hack.

You know what the weird part was, out side the Cavs as a topic, he wasn't a bad guest. That part was fine, relatively enjoyable. But the Cavs stuff was just ugh.
MVP isn't just best player on your team stat-wise. It's what you do it improve and get other players involved and lead them to wins. Not just brute force your way to a low seed and running a season long campaign of uncontested rebounds.
You can't give the "Houston has a roster and coach tailor made for Harden" excuse when the vast majority of that roster is full shooters who can get cold on you at any second. Morey knew what he was doing and how the roster could completely change at a given second due to injury or dudes not being able to get hot. Harden actually gets his teammates involved and better offensively by giving them all those open looks. He put in work to get his roster to work when no one believed in them.
Leonard is out here carrying his entire team on offense and defense, taking on a burden on both sides that almost no other player in the league has.
If Westbrook was working to improve his team through his play, why aren't any of the other Thunder players like Adams who were primed to make a leap this year, end up getting phased out?
Westbrook's gorilla style of play is really impressive, he went and overachieved every expectation. That should be commended and he gets credited for that. But Russell Westbrook is not the MVP..

Come on Hawks, you're due. You can do this!
And wake up Orlando...you know you need to be throwing this game.

I use to work with a guy who grew up with Windhorst and was still his friend and I came away with the belief that being a kiss ass sycophant to get ahead was instilled in them both from birth. They are both very aware of who butters their bread and not making waves with those people was a natural reaction.
FUCK YES MAGICS DEEEED IT!!!! Nets clinched a tie for worst W-L. A lost to either us or Bulls guarantee them the worst record. God be helping!
