Schneiderlin is very average and not good enough for a club that wants to be competing for the title.
There is a reason he is at Everton.

By Wedward Go To PostSchneiderlin is very average and not good enough for a club that wants to be competing for the title.Or you could argue he was very good, hence why he was coveted by Arsenal and United, but wasn't fancied by a manager who's consistently written off players who've gone on to be very good.

He's been excellent for Everton since joining and their points per game with him in the team is significantly better than without.
Enjoyed the football today. Will be hilarious when Watford beat us tomorrow.
Up the rojos.
By Wedward Go To PostFine. Compare to what players at Liverpool and Arsenal make.I wasn't entirely serious. But Spurs are very much still in that stepping stone phase for a career. The doormat to a greener pasture. Southampton would be the driveway. Wanyama and his people know this.
Tottenham players make substantially less.

Wouldn't say he was coveted by Arsenal. We never made a serious effort to sign him. Most journalists said he was on the list of midfielders we were interested in but pretty far down.
LVG wanted him. Not sure that means much.
Schneiderlin was good. I'd take him over 50 Fellainis. I'd take him over Coquelin.
My only solace for today lies in the fact that this Spurs team is going to get scattered around Europe like Dragon Balls soon.

Schneiderlin is a great player. Just needs a formidable partner beside him in order to shine and do what he's best at.
Wanyama and him making one of the greater partnerships in the EPL over the last few seasons wasn't a coincidence.
I wouldn't worry much about the defence as its relatively poor. 56 goals being let in is among the worse stats in La Liga.

By Fergie Go To PostCelta Vigo 2 down at home.Their best attacking options are left on the bench and that's where their main strengths lie. Usually win by (captain obvious, I know) simply outscoring the opponent.
Must be putting all their focus into EL then.

I like Coquelin. Schneiderlin is fine. He serves an extremely limited role well, would probably slot in next to one of Wenger's creative midfielders (Wilshere, Ramsey, etc.) much better than Xhaka.
Don't think either is great. But they're fine.

I saw Kvelertak opening for Ghost the other night. Some of their material reminded me of TDEP.
Quite enjoyed them after a few songs of getting acquainted with their sound.

I still like Morgan a lot. He and Gueye are a formidable partnership. It's not wildly different than what he had with Wanyama at Saints. Something happened with him and Mourinho. If the manager doesn't want you that's how you're treated.
Hello Arnie.
Hello Arnie.
Schneiderlin is far more competent than Xhaka or Ramsey. So it seems like an odd conversation to be having.
I also don't think our wage bill is comparable to Arsenal's, it's probably closer to Spurs'.

By Baconsaurus Go To PostI'm pretty sure The Dillinger Escape Plan is just noise. Very loud and violent noise. You say that like all heavy metal/screamo music isn't that lol.

Having watched him a fair bit he's extraordinarily limited on the ball. You need a system or personnel that can balance that out.

Hello Arnie.
This includes all staff wages tho, not only players, and it doesn't account for the new contracts Spurs players signed.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostYou say that like all heavy metal/screamo music isn't that lol.My only real exposure to that kind of stuff is Wooden's Dillinger posts. It's not my cup of tea.
By Scum Go To Postlol PSGDamn, that was a great goal.
By Arnie Go To PostSchneiderlin is far more competent than Xhaka or Ramsey. So it seems like an odd conversation to be having.Though there is certainly a lot of accounting trickery going on, Liverpool's wages were second highest for the last accounting year, beyond Arsenal (most likely 4th highest once you remove aforementioned trickery from the oil duo). Spurs are a massive amount below the other 5 teams, which makes it all the more impressive but also much more likely their players will be picked off
I also don't think our wage bill is comparable to Arsenal's, it's probably closer to Spurs'.
Edit: 3rd highest according to the charts above, but point remains
By Baconsaurus Go To PostI'm pretty sure The Dillinger Escape Plan is just noise. Very loud and violent noise.
It's hard to hear anything but noise from a shitty live recording like that for sure. But it's extremely organized chaos, with some fairly silly time signatures at times. Easier to hear without vocals.
Quite clear structure to it, even if it changes all the time. Many who are into metal aren't into it at all though, even if most recognize they are pretty fucking good musicians. That part at 1:40 so good.
Well that's me corrected. I'm probably naively assuming that a higher cap in the likes of Sanchez and Ozil equates to a higher bill overall.
By Esch Go To PostRamsey is about as creative as Dean's dick in front of a willing whore.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostYou say that like all heavy metal/screamo music isn't that lol.
Lots of metal is extremely simple and pretty much cut from a template, and as easy to take apart as any other top 20 pop song. The screaming (in most cases at least with metal) might put you off though, but there's so much extremely simple stuff. Hardly just noise.
By NinjaFridge Go To PostGod, I can't wait until Rooney is gone.Surely forced out this summer no?
There is absolutely no place for him, he cant pass the ball, he has no movement anymore and his game sense is gone.
By Arnie Go To PostHello mate, congratulations on a season to cherish and remember and be proud of.Cheers. Yes, it's been quite the shock turnaround over last year. Still hasn't really hit me yet but we're getting closer with every passing week.
Conte is very good.

Haha there isn't too many similarties to them, other than screaming really. Kvelertak is mostly fairly straight forward punk.

Lots of players are. He would improve our squad. I just don't think he is good enough for a team trying to win the title.
If I supported any team other than United I'd be over the moon seeing Rooney play.
Genuinely looks like an ex-pro playing half pace at a testimonial and still finding it phenomenally difficult.

Their opening song was like being transferred back to 1994 with Transilvanian Hunger by Darkthrone.
I was legit shook. But it made more sense once I figured out they were Norwegian.

Weren't you more shocked, that they werent slaughtering sheeps or pigs on stage, when you learnt they were norwegian? That's what I expect from Norwegian metal. You just know they have burnt down a few churches as well.

I just don't think he is good enough for a team trying to win the title.Schneiderlin was the better of Wanyama back at Southampton and he is now challenging for the title. I think fans can be too quick to write off players that aren't world class even though some such are always needed in title winning teams.

Spectacularly crap "music" that, by the way. Though the surrounding history around the black metal movement and its subsidiary is morbidly interesting.
Euronymous was a right cunt. Vikerness is even worse.
Kojima and Geoff Keighley are the video game industry version of Brokeback Mountain, a love story for the ages.

Wanyama plays in a less influential position than Morgan and the player Wanyama usually plays next to is much better than Morgan. I think Morgan is too limited on the ball to play that position in a title contender.
Maybe I am wrong, but I think more teams would have been interested in him when he left United if that were true.
