The argument going on for it is that it doesn't stream games itself but just aggregates/provides the links, like you can find them on Google or even Reddit has (or used to have) a dedicated page for it.
It was fun seeing it take off. Obviously at the beginning was supposed to just attract traffic for Ronaldo fandom stuff, but livestreams, which were an afterthought, ended up skyrocketing it.

The money definitely pays off but more often than not his social life was compromised because he needed to get home and set up the stream links straight, for every day with relevant football matches (almost every day then).
