Look at Bold, lads.
I'm really not. Today's been absolute shite and the prospect of this derby is kinda only adding stress. Don't like being on the teetering point of making top 4. It'll only end in sadness.
Good article by Mitten on United and City's seasons.

City fans and their persecution complex...
We're going to lose. I just know it.
A chance to reach 4th/3rd? Yeah, no way we don't fold.
I'd very much like to see United "seek revenge" for the previous result at OT but they're soft as so I doubt they have it in them. City will want to bounce back from that loss against Arsenal in the FA Cup semi-final and have got something to prove as well.
You have to excuse me for coming across as such a spoilsport but something simply feels off today.

Would be sensational if Citeh and United both finish outside the top four... but that means relying on Arsenal and Liverpool...

The mic thing 100% happens at every ground. For example, everyone who goes to Palace says the only noise you get is from that tiny corner they have but on TV you'd think it was a cauldron of noise as they like to say...
Would you believe that there are people on rawk who attribute some of the blame for that goal on Sakho
You would, and you should, cos there are

Yeah. It happens a lot here in Brazil too. It's disgusting.

What, how, I mean it doesnt make sense. It was a perfect pass
By Kidjr Go To PostWhat, how, I mean it doesnt make sense. It was a perfect passSomething like why has he gone beyond our DM only to pass it across to him, shouldn't he be deeper, why didn't he take the ball forward, the nitpicking you'd expect when trying to apportion as little blame as possible to your favourite player :P
edit: only just noticed how slowly Skrtel reacts. Not that he'd have got anywhere near regardless, but christ
Watched Split last night. Apart from McAvoy and that lass out of The Witch's oddly flattering outfit, didn't think much of it. Clearly I was not the target audience 🤷

I was literally about to post about this. Before I went to the Palace game I'd heard so much on TV about how it has "the best atmosphere in the country", and even last night the atmosphere at 0-0 sounded very good.
Myth. Untrue. Absolutely shite atmosphere. And that was with them 5-1 (Shteve pls ) up.

Yeah I have noticed the mic thing a lot this season. Its probably done to prevent swearing being heard on TV but I can understand why people think it is biased. Saw a game recently where a player was being subbed off, turned and clapped the away fans who were chanting his name but you could only just slightly hear it like it was coming from outside the ground.
Been to every Chelsea game at Selhurst since they have been promoted and tbf it was great the first season when they beat us under Pulis but now its just full of pricks who used to support Man Utd. All you can hear from the away end is that wanker with the drum.
By Laboured Go To PostBeing me both. Huge fan of Morata
Who has ever described Palace as the best atmosphere in the country (not doubting you but christ thats absurd).
Best imo:
Millwall
Highbury
Anfield
Villa
And ofc the mikes have to be turned down, I never forget the rage when that Eduardo chant got picked up
"Eduardooo.... ohhhhohooooo
Eduardooo.... ohhoohooo
He once had silky skills,
But now he walks like heather mills"
Tbh I thought it was hilarious but you cant have stuff like that on prime time tv lol

Yeah I was there for the Arsenal game and most of their noise came from that same corner. It's really not very different from some other Premier League grounds in that respect.
Our ball control and movement was so good yesterday, we actually looked a lot better than our A team. This group of players know how to interact and network with each other on the field.

It's different (and worse) in the respect their atmosphere consists of a drum and the same chant (Oooohhhhwwwoooooaaaaoooaaaahhhhhhh) over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over etc

If Silva and KDB play, your not winning, without you have a chance.

True, I still certainly see them as dangerous regardless but I'm under no illusion that Arsenal would not have one that game with silva on the field, with both of them on the pitch one drops deep acts as a metronome finding the other space and will pretty much play most in the EPL off the park a la Carzola to Ozil.
José will probably do something dumb (with the starting XI) in order to prove himself smarter than Pep, too. It would be typical behaviour from him.
God... How I dislike rivalries.

Edit: Actually I meant Rashford. I dunno why I wrote Martial there.
Has Thiago lived up to expectaions? and by expectations I mean is he to be mentioned in the same breathe as Luka Modric
By Kidjr Go To PostHas Thiago lived up to expectaions? and by expectations I mean is he to be mentioned in the same breathe as Luka Modric
If he could stay consistently fit he might. Probably less high energy than Modric though.
By Kidjr Go To PostHas Thiago lived up to expectaions? and by expectations I mean is he to be mentioned in the same breathe as Luka ModricI don't watch the Bundesliga, or watch many Bayern games. I do pay attention to stats. Thiago's stats are astonishing. Lot of that is probably due to the nature of the competition, but still seems like he must be doing a lot right
