Sometimes it feels like a bit of a waste to have Coutinho out wide. When he's on form, you want him on the ball all the time, pulling the strings and finding pockets in the middle. But we'd obviously lose his ability to cut inside at will, and frankly he hasn't quite earned that responsibility. Lallana is less likely to put in a legitimately poor performance, and in that position the entire team falls apart if the player in there keeps giving the ball away.

it's like he never knows how the picture is going to develop before it does, so by the time he's identified the space everyone else has so he has to wait for something else to develop which usually means he just ends up over playing it.
not sure you can change that which is a shame, because he's maybe one of maybe five english players that i think even have a remote chance of becoming an elite player.
