By diehard Go To PostSuns you let me down
Naw. We ok.
he's definitely thinking about mvp and tbh, i can't even be too mad at it. a mvp elevates your stature and brand to a different level
but clearly the wrist is fuked and the 3rd seed is almost wrapped anyway

By shun Go To PostBear meat looks so good. I should really go soon. What is this?
Finally, it doesn't suck complete ass to watch Portland play basketball.
I may have been wrong about the lillard/cj backcourt. I had plumlee on my mind when I declared it dead.

Yeah. Guess you have to not be a Portland homer to get it.

I heard it's really good, but pricy because you need to prepare it in a certain way.
By giririsss Go To PostYeah. Guess you have to not be a Portland homer to get it.Was it a Kevin Duckworth goof? You know that's cruel. Can't we joke about the three ghosts of LaMarcus Aldridge's Defense?
I need that bear meat.
You know what? I'm feeling like Kirk at the end of Wrath of Khan.
Lets give it up to the fallen Blazers...
Kevin Duckworth, Dražen Petrović, Clyde 'the Glide' Drexler, the 2000 Western Conference Finals.. rest in peace you bastard kings of Rip City.

for about 1 second i thought that Drexler was actually dead
Uncle Spliffy had a scare as well..
And right on cue, Kevin O'Connor from The Ringer back to trigger another fanbase (or two):
Would the Cavs Be Better off With Andrew Wiggins Over Kevin Love?
And in the paragraph that makes me wonder if he's reading this site:
Would the Cavs Be Better off With Andrew Wiggins Over Kevin Love?
NBA executives and scouts I’ve talked to tell me Cleveland’s issues include natural fatigue after two Finals runs, uninterest in defense, poor coaching by Tyronn Lue, and no bench help for Thompson. As one scout put it, “Their depth is a shit show.”
Had they not traded for Love, maybe they wouldn’t have won the Finals last year. But maybe they would’ve gone back-to-back — after all, they didn’t need Love to get there in 2015. …. I asked one scout, one executive, and one assistant coach if the Cavs would be better off with Wiggins over Love now, and all three said yes
And in the paragraph that makes me wonder if he's reading this site:
You could point to Wiggins’s inconsistent defense as an issue, but context matters: How much of Wiggins’s defensive issues are due to his significant 37.2-minute-per-game workload, or the fact he’s had three coaches with three different systems, one for each season of his career? Wiggins was an elite defender in college and a solid defender as a rookie, and he raises his play in premier matchups. The ability is still there.
Wiggins could’ve been the Kawhi Leonard to LeBron’s Tim Duncan.
By giririsss Go To PostHe's 32. Has a lot of minutes on his legs.I have this strange feeling he will retire at 35.
How many more years does he play?
He needs about 5,000 points to get top 3.
His career avg ppg is 27, but that's slowly going down. Lets say he averages 25pp. He'd need 200 games. 2.5 seasons.
Which would mean he'd be playing when he's 35.
To get 1st, he'd need 5 years more, playing at 25ppg.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostLeBron will play until 40 like a lot of greatsHe could. But he's just as likely to call it quits. He's done "everything" inccluding chipping in cle. Doesn't really need to ring chase.
Since the all-star break (17 games), Ricky Rubio is averaging 16.8 pts, 10.5 asts, 4.5 rbds and 1.7 stls.
Since the win against Dallas in January (36 games), he's putting up 14.2/10.6/4/1.8.

What if he was threatened with being traded to Brooklyn? 🤔
maybe he'd average a triple double? 🤔🤔🤔

2 games removed from losing 7 of 8 lol
but dat rubio love
By Dark PhaZe Go To Post2 games removed from losing 7 of 8 lolYeah, they've played like trash since Bjelica went down. The defense was keeping them afloat after Zach's ACL and it just completely went away. Thibs really only runs a six man rotation at the moment and of those guys, you could argue that only two of them are actually good right now (Wiggins has been in a really bad shooting slump and not helping much, though he was good last night).
but dat rubio love
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postsix man rotationI don't know who else he's supposed to play without LaVine and Bjelica.
not this shit again thibs
Towns, Rubio, Wiggins, Dieng obviously deserve the minutes. Rush starts, but he is beyond washed, so most of the SG minutes go to Dunn these days. Tyus only plays in fits and starts because Thibs doesn't like his inconsistency.
They absolutely have to nail this lottery pick (Miles Bridges, maybe? I don't know, I'm lost after Robert Williams went back to school.) and sign two veterans that can actually play.
Also buried in that article I quoted above:
I can't blame Butler for wanting out of that meat grinder of a franchise. I'd love him in Toronto, but I don't know if they've got the pieces to make it happen...JV + Powell + 1st?
Anywhere but Boston.
Paul George and Jimmy Butler were involved in trade rumors at the deadline, and all indications are that those conversations will resume this offseason. One front-office source told me recently that Butler is “as good as gone”

Celtics have have to seriously consider making a Crowder/Tozier/18 pick offer for Butler.
With or without Rubio, we'd still clown the Knicks.

Depends on what the pick is. If its #1 I'd keep Fultz and enjoy my depth and hope Fultz is good enough to be very good very fast.
