All I saw was Ball looking too cool for everyone and not putting effort in for a huge game. Not a good look
By giririsss Go To PostUlis - 21
Booker - 20
Derrick Jones - 20
Chriss - 19
Len - 23
That line up isn't about winning games this season.
Well
Go head Yung Buks
By diehard Go To PostI can't wait to hear what his dad has to say.
"IF I was coaching UCLA this wouldn't of happened"
By pkaz01 Go To PostBooker scores 70 and the magic, sixers, and lakers win? what a great fucking night
He scored it Terry Rozier as well, what an effort
Booker's game is the kind of thing that makes me think Kobe's 81 point game shouldn't be weighted very highly in evaluating him.
It is cool to finally see a white guy have a huge scoring game though.

By pkaz01 Go To PostWell the logic of picking based on position of need makes sense, but yea not when you put it that way. Would be interesting if a team actually trades down like that though
Well it isn't uncommon... LMA was traded for his own position in Thomas and a 2nd round pick (lol and lol)
Like I said Penny and Webber...
The Mavs traded down for Dirk.

It only happens once every 5 years.
Typically, if you're down there, picking in the single pick range, you can't value any existing player in any position overly high. (exceptions are there, for dudes like Embiid and Booker etc)
Nah fuck the win giving up 70 to a 20 year old wasn't worth it. Phoenix should absolutely be gloating over that.
Ball being so thoroughly wrecked by Fox on this stage should eliminate him from top 2 consideration but it probably won't.

Once every 4 or 5 years isn't super uncommon to me at least..
Well, at sometime you have to address need as well. Like if you are the Pels and you had a chance to draft another all-star level talent big you probably should find a trade partner for that..
By Jonm Go To PostEDIT: Nevermind. Not gonna let myself get worked up again. It was an example of a roster where need should be addressed instead of bpa..
By Jonm Go To PostEDIT: Nevermind. Not gonna let myself get worked up again. We've all done it.
Do it regularly.
I can't believe this signing found a way to get worse.

By ESPNNew York Knicks center Joakim Noah will receive a 20-game suspension from the NBA for violating the league's anti-drug policy, a source told ESPN's Marc Spears, confirming news that was first reported by The Vertical.
The suspension is expected to be announced Saturday, the source said.
Noah will be suspended for 10 games this season and then the first 10 games of the 2017-18 season, according to the source.

By domino Go To PostWho listens to The Vertical. Rob Lowe Pelinka say anything interesting?didn't even know.
I'll give it a listen, Thanks!
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostThey may run Simmons at SF after all if they really believe in Saric
Wasn't that always the plan?
Apparently Noah was suspended for an over the counter supplement and not weed like I'd assumed. Also...
😃

By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostWasn't that always the plan?Nah. Before the season, the coach said Simmons would play PG.
he still will. just won't guard PGs. We probably will try to add a PG who plays off ball mostly and works as a secondary ballhandler. This is why they brought Bayless in
getting destroyed by Crawford and Austin Rivers in the playoffs will be depressing.
Hayward is hurt now, just swallow your pride and tank for the 6 seed.

Crazy that he created his own shot on most of these, and people around the internet downplaying like it was stat padding but there's a hand or two in his face on most of these shots. He was making and 1's off two or three players, on the second night of a b2b.
I swear it was only a couple of seasons ago 3 point fouls were basically never called, then Steph started getting a bunch. What changed, the way they're called, or guys learning to draw the foul/flop better?

What changed, the way they're called, or guys learning to draw the foul/flop better?I don't know when they implemented the spacing rule where you have the give the shooter space to land or something, but I think that's had an impact so the bruce bowens couldn't put their feet under a guy anymore

It is probably a combination of guys taking more 3s, more willing to shoot contested 3s, and getting better at sneaky ways of drawing/embellishing/creating the belief of defensive contact. Harden is a pioneer in a lot of the techniques for this.
