CP3 is trash talking Gobert and shoved Gobert twice after the Clippers choked away an easy win.
What a baby, lol.
What a baby, lol.
CP3 you dirty motherfucker
The Clippers are so ridiculously unlikeable. Like id be a hardcore Rockets fan if they were playing them.

Why would we have to play the Spurs in round 2 :(
We match up way better with Golden State :(. Gobert would average 25 rebounds a game.

I put it at 30%.
But I still want good matchup possibilities just in case :(
By Fenderputty Go To PostDown 30 world peace sightingwe need more 30 point blow outs then.
gonna miss this cat when he retires.
I would be worried if i was a Laker fan, this is beyond tanking. This is "our current draft picks aint shit, either" level play.
I love the Players Only stuff. ESPN brass would have a panic attack if this happened on their network.
By diehard Go To PostI would be worried if i was a Laker fan, this is beyond tanking. This is "our current draft picks aint shit, either" level play. The one thing to cling to is that Ingram is SUPER young.
He's started to put together a bunch of double digit scoring games.
Which is sad as it sounds, is genuine progress from the start of the season where they were few and far between.
But ... Yeah. The cupboard seems pretty bare.

a B2B in denver is a guaranteed L for us anyway but luke isn't even playing real lineups.

Swapped out Russell for Clarkson, Zubac for Black and a D League player to start the night.
By blackace Go To PostI still see Ingram as the next Rashard Lewis120Mill has a reliable outside shot.
Ingrams whole career trajectory basically relies on him developing one.
By giririsss Go To Post120Mill has a reliable outside shot.Well Lewis didn't become the laser he did until his 3rd year..

Statwise Ingram is like right between Lewis' 1st and 2nd year

Granted.
But the only guy I know who developed one after those first few years is Kidd.
If ingram doesn't have his by the 3rd year It's going to change things over there.
Are the Ball Brothers going to be more successful than the Plumlee family? I wonder.
I can't think of any other extended basketball family all making it to the NBA and cashing a check at some point.

By reilo Go To PostCurrys?Oh I meant like brothers and cousins, like all in the same generation.
Curry's count too even with both brothers and how successful their sister is at volleyball.
Zubac is 24 and 10 on 12/14 lol
If there were a bright a lot this year I think it's gotta be him. Maybe one day Shaq will have to say his name correctly

CP3 crying about Gobert as the Clippers decide to start a feud with another team.
The Clips feud with everyone and lose every time, it's just sad.

Mamba is trolling me on another forum about how Zubac is better than Gobert and honestly, I just feel bad for him tbh.

Knicks sit in 6th place in the tank off with these games remaining:
They could lose out and get into the top 4-5. It's happening guys, god want us to have a good point guard.

Vince became the oldest player after Mike to score 20 last night. Also the oldest to hit 6 threes.
It's crazy to me that he would be the guy, given that he was just about the wussiest, most fragile player in the league early in his career. There was a stretch where every second game he was rolling on the ground sobbing, hiding his face (then would get up and be fine 5 minutes later).
Curious to see where he ends up next year, in what would presumably be his last season. He's still never won a ring.
Yeah, you guys really lucked out in that regard, a bunch of lower teams like Miami, Dallas and Minnesota all decided they weren't going to tank and started winning. It makes me wonder though, seems like hardly anybody except LA (who have to) and maybe Orlando have really been going hard for the tank. Is this draft really as good as people have been saying?

Vince just didn't have that drive but the talent has always been there.
He could have been almost any type of player he wanted to be... I am convinced he could have been a Barkley like 4 with his frame and gifts.
But dude was so gifted that work like that wasn't really needed... just wake up and drop 20

Believe me, it kills me because you're right. I've never seen anybody that had his combination of fluidity + explosiveness + not being a dumb guy. Like, this video starts off with a couple of "yeah, I've seen that before" dunks then goes into like 8 minutes straight of "WTF IS EVEN HAPPENING:"
There are so many crazy HGHed-up athletes now, but who's out there throwing down windmills, 360s and double-pump reverses all over the place in traffic? With that kind of quick Bruce Lee smoothness?
Unfortunately once Oak & Butch Carter left there was nobody to push him, and he just played super soft on the perimeter all the time. He did play hard for a while in NJ though.
That's the thing you shouldnt have to push a once in a lifetime talent like Vince he should want to be better than the greats...
I mean shit even lazy asses like Shaq and Barkley played their asses off during the season... but didn't do shit on the offseason... the one year Shaq really gave it his all during the offseason he came in with a 6 pack and won MVP and chipped
but Vince didn't even have Shaq or Barkley heart

Gasol have done pretty well. 2/3, anyway.
Probably some others I can't think of right now.
The Wolves were never tanking. It legitimately took Thibs six weeks to figure out that the motion offense he ran in Chicago wasn't the best use of this roster. His wings aren't strong ball handlers and he has pick and roll point guards that he made them stand in the corner for the first quarter of the year. I cannot explain it.
Hardly anybody is actually tanking, it's just what fans of bad teams tell themselves to feel better.

I cannot explain it.Monty Williams would do something similar, but not nearly so bad. He would run the system they learned in the preseason for the first third of the regular season. Make tweaks between then and the All-Star break. If potentially in the playoffs, then continue tweaking. If not, mix in a lot of newer stuff to see what has potential for next season.
By diehard Go To PostHardly anybody is actually tanking, it's just what fans of bad teams tell themselves to feel better.Pretty much. Everyone hates losing and they sure as hell aren't going to try to go after a higher chance of getting a better draft pick. Sure, they will try new things but they do it in the hopes of finding something that works. Or they will sit injured players so they can be ready for next season with no issues.
I don't think I had it as bad as Sixers fans, but I have seen the face of tanking. The Wolves have deliberately tried to lose in three entire seasons since they traded away Garnett. Watching Darko start over Kevin Love will change you.
By diehard Go To PostHardly anybody is actually tanking, it's just what fans of bad teams tell themselves to feel better. And even decent teams. My favourite are the fan theories after a losing streak to the tune of "management sees the big picture, that 18th pick is looking pretty tasty right now."
magic are definitely tanking, jeff green has played center on a few occasions lately. sometimes they get "lucky" and payton decides to not suck and win entire games by himself though
Jon Bois with a "Pretty Good" on the all time highest scoring NCAA game (Troy State beat DeVry 253-141).
