By knux-future Go To PostRussell is more of a SG anyway. He and Ball would be a fine backcourt. Most high bust potential backcourt in years
By IWMTB19 Go To PostHe's only in his second year so he has two years left on his rookie contract.Yeah, but he really can't shoot that well nor does he attack the basket that well so he has little value at SG at this point.. I could see him working better as a half court type of PG in a slower offense if he stopped being a tool. For some reason I see him in a Magic uni...

I think a mix of Ball and Russell will require both guys to play off the ball quite a bit. Not sure if either is really equipped to do that.
EDIT: What made Russell great in college was that he was the best ball handler in P'n'R situations in the country. Have not seen him translate that particular skill into running a competent NBA offense.
I give that Russ has been playing better lately but seems like he knows he is playing for his future lol
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostI think a mix of Ball and Russell will require both guys to play off the ball quite a bit. Not sure if either is really equipped to do that.personally I worry about Ball's ability to create off the bounce at the NBA level so I think he's going to be more of an open court and top of the key facilitator and will need another ballhandler next to him. Russell can do that I think.
Fultz is basically better Russell with more athleticism (based off of very little viewing of course)...and would probably spell the end of Russell in LA.
I think the best outcome is that the Lakers lose their pick and Philly gets it so they can draft a real guard or two.

By chandlerparsons Go To PostI know everybody else hates him, but gee, Beverley plays so hard for us. Goddamn.
why i was telling morey to chill on him during trade deadline
By knux-future Go To Postsomeone tell Clarkson and Dario their teams are tanking.dario is gonna be really good.
By Kabro Go To Posttank battle delivers. gg knuxgg both teams tanked hard
Wizards would actually have a really good shot at the #1 seed if they didn't lose the tiebreaker to Cleveland.
Boston and Washington are still within 2 games with 15+ games left, Cleveland has really played bad this year...

By Kibner Go To PostThey are missing Love and (previously) JR a lot.It doesn't explain why their defense has tanked to worst in the league.
Tristan Thompson being their only "centers" explains pretty well why their defense is so bad probably.
It's so weird that the Cavs the indicators of being a team waiting to flip the switch... Except LeBron is playing 45 minutes a game and is freaking out a lot about the issues of their team.
They really need Larry Sanders to still be good at basketball.

Sad.
if we lose to the Clippers tomorrow im fully onboard with tanking and getting out of the 4 or 5 seed.

We'll definitely be able to guard Griffin with Joe Johnson.
By reilo Go To PostThought that was Chi McBride for a second..
Dat 1 seed....
I'd really really like to avoid the theatrics (and challenge) of a playoff series with Boston in the second round. We need to grind to steal the 1st seed.

He's been an odd player at this level. Doesn't really score efficiently, but isn't the kind of ball handler you want from a point guard. I think the obvious lesson from him and Evan Turner is don't draft Ohio State players.

Curious how bad he actually looks since it took like the fourth team looking at him to actually sign him.
