Jah shouldn't be as bad as he is. He also no longer has the excuse of it being the other players fault either as Holmes, Noel and Embiid all look fine-great with the same trashcans around him. His touch is also gone and teams are playing him for that spin move more now....so he brings nothing to the table. I hope he does get better because he has been a great guy in terms of the fuckery that is the franchise but holy shit.

In general, a defender staying put or moving away from the ball-handler has rights to his position. If the defender goes directly towards the ball-handler or moves sideways or at an angle, the ball-handler has position over the dedender.
Being set makes it more clear-cut, but yeah, you can see why it gets called wrong all the time.
