So what's the verdict on Dortmund's Dembele? Legit GOAT in the making or more of a Coman? As in really fucking sensational in certain aspects, not so much in others, like football IQ, workrate, defensive capabilities, etc. With such young players there's always hope they'll improve as they mature, but some (personality) traits, good and bad, are quite easy to spot regardless of age. So, legitissimo?

Good riddance?
Juve lads, is this Moise Kean any good? I don't even want him here but with Raiola and his plans you never know.
By GQman2121 Go To PostThis defending from the USA ladies is something else.Wish I could watch on TV. Fox isn't airing it in a bunch of places for some odd reason even though the guide says its on.
By Slizz Go To PostCancelled :(
Khabib hospitalized cutting weight.
I know :(
Conor is going to absolutely destroy him next time he's brought up in an interview
By Francis Go To PostSpeaking of which, Rummenigge has hinted that Bayern will buy him out in the summer.Probably, but ... At the end of last season or thereabouts he (or someone else from Bayern, I don't remember) said they were going to buy him out for sure, but lately it's always "we're probably going to buy him out". I think it'll happen. Rummenigge and Agnelli are the best of buds these days and I think there's an agreement in place by which Juve buy out Benatia, while Bayern get Coman. I have no strong feelings about it either way.
Good riddance?
By Linius Go To PostJuve lads, is this Moise Kean any good? I don't even want him here but with Raiola and his plans you never know.As with any primavera player it's extremely hard to say for sure, because the youth league is a joke. He's been beasting there, but it doesn't mean anything. I think the plan is to have him sign a proper professional contract with Juve by summer and then send him on loan, possibly abroad.
Depends on Raiola and how willing Juve will be to accomodate his demands. Sparks have been flying for a while in regards to Kean, so who knows.
He reminds me of Lukaku at that age. Maybe not quite as beastly physically, but with more killer instinct.
By Pennywise Go To PostVolland was like the only player that remotely looked dangerous, but he just got two goals this season. Bet Neverkusen thought he would be alot more valuable.what do you mean? they made a 20M profit in the transfer window
I expected that from Hecking tbh. He is a pretty solid coach that get's a certain balance into a team and Gladbach needed that badly.
Schalke is still a freaking joke, I wonder if Heidel is gonna kick out Fraudzierl. Spending so much without reaching the EL is not gonna be good for them. Their team was already far too expensive, but this would be pretty bad for them.
By Francis Go To PostSpeaking of which, Rummenigge has hinted that Bayern will buy him out in the summer.Still unsure about him. He got some talent for sure and can be a great addition, but he isn't on the level to be a good alternative to the current players.
Good riddance?

Just looking at his statistics is already enough. 6 goals and 9 assists in 15 games, plus 1 goal and 5 assist in 7 CL games.
He can play on alot of positions, every attacking position on both sides and in the center. He is making incredible use of his pace and knows exactly when he can pass by a player. The thing that suprised me the most, his accuracy during crosses. Dembele is not afraid to get a ball in and he's delievering them pretty damn well, but's he also not afraid to play key passes and got an eye the the footy IQ for it. I don't think I have to highlight his dribbling, which is his biggest strength. He knows how to make use of his pace, use his body and move into the right space at the right time. The workrate is pretty good, allthough he is still adjusting to the team and every once in a while, he forget's to get back and defend.
There are some weak points obviously. His finishing could be a bit better, but I suppose he has to get used to the different league and it was just far easier to score in France.
I already mentioned his defending above, he is working on it, but it still needs to get better. You'll see the better academy influence on Pulisic for example, who's further ahead with defending in general.
A few points where you can still see his age are still showing. He can be too hasty with a pass or shot when he got better options. His temper is also coming through on several occasions, but nothing major.
In general I haven't seen alot of 19 year old players that showed so much talent and were still so versatile and yet, he still got room for improvement. And we got alot of great talents at Dortmund and always had...
I think he's not gonna be part of Dortmund for a long time and he's gonna be part of Barca or Madrid at some point.
By Elchele Go To Postwhat do you mean? they made a 20M profit in the transfer windowAnd they still got a rather big dept, on top of a team that's too expensive for what they're showing.
They're also going to buy Bentalep for 20m €, maybe Konoplyanka. Not to mention that they need new defenders when Baba, Badstuber are leaving in summer and maybe another striker when Huntelaar/Choupo-Moting leave.

Coman has been looking good these past days.
Yeah, Juve will sign him this summer and then Raiola wants him to come to Ajax so we can develop him for you guys. Not something I'm a big fan of. Especially since he'll only stand in the way of our own players and will leave us after one season anyways. Him going on loan to some place seems almost a 100% because you guys have quite a few players in front of him which will mean he's gonna be wasted on the bench or stay at the youth squad. Neither scenarios are to his or Juve's benefits.
By Xpike Go To PostI'm disgusted Wenger hasn't announced he's leavingHe will sign an extension soon enough. Sure as can be.
I can't believe some of you actually thought (or think?) he'd step down at the end of this season.
Not leaving prematurely unless forced out and that's never going to happen.

Marc Bartra is also getting stronger and finally consistent. Hopefully he keeps that up, he had some wonderful long balls today :P
Thanks, Penny. I haven't been following Dortmund much this season, but it goes for every club that isn't Juve.
Looking forward to the upcoming CL matches. Love me a good driblomane.

By Elchele Go To PostCompletely forgot about Benatia's existence. How is he doing? He hasn't been playing much. We're playing with "only" two CBs now and he's behind both the BBC and Rugani in the pecking order. Not his fault, really, he's been rather unfortunate. Between a series of light injuries (nothing new, I know) and Africa Cup he hasn't been able to find his groove. No complaints whenever he was fielded, however. He's been brilliant in those rare appearances. I'm sure Juve would love to have him on loan for another season, to test him some more, but Bayern aren't stupid, lol. As I've said earlier, I'm pretty sure he's as good as signed already. Absolutely fine with me.

Neither scenarios are to his or Juve's benefits.I can imagine, haha. I find it extremely hard to believe that Ajax would be okay with such an arrangement. I'm sure Raiola would love it, but Kean honestly hasn't really done anything to deserve such consideration from a club like Ajax. A low-tier Eredivisie club, sure, maybe. Although I'm not exactly sure what the point of such a move would be, professionally, as that's not much different than playing for Pescara or Crotone.
Raiola wants guaranteed playing time for Kean, but any club would be crazy to agree to it. Not for a fucking primavera player. Gotta earn it, lad.
By Zabojnik Go To PostThanks, Penny. I haven't been following Dortmund much this season, but it goes for every club that isn't Juve. There are plenty of highlight vids on youtube, but they're mostly CL stuff and I can't endure that endless pile of shit music.
United fans also got great memories of Dembele during the preseason tour in China.
The benefits of going international to a club like ours is having European football besides league football probably. Especially if we reach the CL we're interesting these days. We've had some loanees from Barca lately, as well as Sanogo and Traore from the prem. For some reason the board wasn't ready to just spend some money but decided to get in some lads from big clubs. And to be fair, none of them did particularly well for us. Traore is probably the most successful one.
And yeah, unlikely we'll agree to a guarenteed playing time type of deal. There's no such thing. Anyways, it's all very premature, was mostly interested in knowing if the lad really is a proper talent just in case Raiola manages to push his agenda :P

I think we've all seen the highlights. I was curious to know what else is there to him. Now I do. :D
What a player. Would be perfect for our 4-2-3-1. I think.
What a player. Would be perfect for our 4-2-3-1. I think.
He was subbed in 3 times. Don't think he reached 45 minutes in the first team. He also played a total of 3 games for our reserves who play in the second tier of Dutch football. To be fair, if you can't make it in that league it might be time to overthink your career as a professional football player.
Oh and I actually wasn't so negative at first, when he was announced. I was like, it's a young guy and it's tough to have a breaktrough at Arsenal. But they must see something in him so he can't be that bad for us. Boy was I wrong lol.

our squad honestly have so much dead weight that i think is unsellable to any team, sanogo, gibbs, jenko, etc, they have been shown to be complete shit

Seriously? There were fans who wanted Wenger to stay during the first half of the season? lmao
Ousmane Dembele is the real deal and has been since Rennes.

So we got a game on pool and just off Arsenal, Ibra will miss the next few games no doubt, will be super interested to see if Mou can come up with something that works without Zlatan, hes going to have to change it up, might even consider playing with a false 9 with Mikky in the cf slot. I mean we cant score any less than 0 so gotta try something.
