By Phlebas Go To PostShooters are meant to be played on a keyboard & mouse, can't wait for the beta.
Phlebas sort of has a point.
When a genre, which is about aiming and shooting, requires that the player is given in-built aim assist to be broadly functional on a controller, that is not a good look.
I will concede that moving around using keyboard keys is not the ideal scenario either, but having so many keys also means you can assign a lot of functions if you need.

Destiny was boring. I initially bought it to go through the campaign with a friend but even that was dull and we never finished it, lol. Maybe 2 will be less boring but I can't see it.
Played hundreds of hours of shooters on both PC and console, I like both. Controllers have triggers on them, a mouse you're literally just pointing and clicking. Sticks mimic the movement your neck muscles make, pull back to look up, push forward to look down, it's a much more fluid feel overall. Aiming is obviously more precise on a mouse, I just don't think maximizing precision is necessarily more fun.
Aim assist being there is not a knock against controllers as well, there are all kinds of hidden mechanisms in games to help you play the game on any platform.

By Laboured Go To PostJust watched ep 7 and it spent a lot of time on exposition that the show had purposefully avoided up until that point.
That said it's a great show overall and probably the best thing Marvel have done so far (I realise that bar is low).
Believe in the GOAT Hawley. Fargo back this month. And Better Call Saul.
"More chances for English youngsters and enhancing the national team" could be among the worst pro-Brexit takes
Morning, lads. Have Arsenal beaten City yet?

Thought the same about kbm until Killzone 2.
Has had no problems with it after. Good that most first person shooters i got didn't need fast twitch responses either.
Not missing mouselook much.

180ms response time literally stopped you from being able to perceive life.
Modern controllers have actual triggers which is ideal for FPS, I like that a lot.
I really do think you guys should give Destiny another shot.

what a man innit.
Prefer mouse to an analogue stick or trigger. Mouse control is instant and completely under my (lack) of control, whilst a click is far more responsive and tactile than an analogue trigger. I point mouse at something, it's there easy. I click M1, gun ejaculates dps at the crosshair immediately. What a time.

Guys we crossed the rubicon. No return from this. It's all over guys. This will probably be my last post ever because everything after this has become pointless.
Well at least it's for charity.
Blessing in disguise.

By Laboured Go To PostThis being Konami, I wouldn't be surprised if they had screwed up somewhere, but on the other hand Maradona probably signed away his likeness whilst coked up and completely forgot
My understanding is that 'classic' players don't actually look like their counterparts particularly. Don't they also have false names until edited?
If I'm right then Konami's main stance will be the likeness used in their game simply doesn't look that much like Maradona, especially not now.
If they're given false names then that would support their position too.

Maradona probably sold aways his likeness and doesn't know it.
Duncan Castles intimating that Shaw may well be completely dead.
Mourinho’s search for a new left back has been provoked by Luke Shaw’s failure to perform at a level commensurate with his own £30m purchase price – a world record for a full back when Louis van Gaal signed his from Southampton in 2014. The England international has disappointed Mourinho with his mental attitude, long periods in which he applied himself poorly in training, and performances that have failed to match his own technical potential.

By Laboured Go To PostJones and Smalling have 'long term' injuries but, err, Rooney is 'fit'.Playing Ronneh as a CB must be the ultimate humiliation for him. Maybe the final drop for him to go to China?

imagine using anything but kbm for a shooter.

The legends look pretty good though. Miles better than FUT Legends in FIFA.
If only the players moved as well as they looked.
By Laboured Go To PostI will murder someone if they botch the PC version for PES2018. Actual murder. You already know the answer to this question. You'll have to get it on PS4 and like it.
The only way Konami will bother with a proper PC version is if they don't make a last gen port, at which point they would have to put in deliberate effort to sabotage a PC port.
frozen oranges? why not just cut them up and soak them in vodka like people do with candy.
hey shit or get off the pot right? its not like LBs are hard to find.
