Watch Dogs 2 put out a patch to make the aiming feel better supposedly.
Haven't checked it since I finished all the single player stuff and don't care about the multiplayer.

I had no idea that Bleed 2 released recently. If you haven't played the original, it's basically a hybrid of Hard Corps Uprising, with a Max Payne bullet time gauge and a Devil May Cry-esque style meter. It also gives you a triple jump that functions as a dash, so you can bob and weave your way through...everything. You run through a gauntlet of enemies, while fighting a ton of mini-bosses and bosses, while unlocking different weapons to use. The sequel added a katana to the base load-out that lets you reflect bullets and bosses back at themselves. It also gives you the taunt mechanic from Devil May Cry and a harsh as fuck penalty for getting hit. I haven't figured out if it has a style system for switching guns, but now you have the ability to toggle between different load-outs, on the fly. Bleed 2 comes with local co-op and a bunch of extra characters to unlock.
I just finished the story with a HORRIBLE rank, but I did it and man...
Man...
It's fucking fun. You feel like Sam from Vanquish fighting through nonstop nonsense. If you're not moving, you're getting hit and your rank is dropping like a rock. The story mode is short af, but I'm going back for high marks and the higher difficulty modes.
If there was one thing that the game could have used more of, it is the humanoid bosses. The ninja/samurai, the vergil like character, and the chick with the force field were amazing to fight.
By RobNBanks Go To Posti didnt even know the guy from vanquish had a nameCome on...
Hes got the best name too.
I would play so much more ATS if they had a full screen windowed/windowed borderless mode in the game.
It's 2017 yall. Every game should have this.

I finished Rise of the Tomb Raider. For a game that just tapes pieces of other games together, it does really well for itself. I liked it alot by the end. I never used a guide for anything, in the end I could only get to 93% completion...some of those challenges are ridiculous and I'm not hunting through youtube videos for them. That 93% only got me to about 32% of the trophies too, there's a lot of it tied up in other modes.
I want to track down the first one now.

Been saying Tomb Raider was gud, but yall wouldn't hear me
And it looks like Killzone is probably ded seeing Horizon reviews.

not a bad thing, they couldn't really decide what they wanted to do with killzone and it lost it's gameplay identity. It's a shame they didn't properly expand and explore the multiplayer poosibilities based off the foundation of KZ2 multiplayer.

Feeling like Obi Wan on the high ground
Idk about $60 though.
God damn, Doom is great.
Started playing this past weekend and I was super frustrated for the first hour or two: all the levels were so damn dark. Thought it was because I'm playing on a plasma.
Adjusted the gamma and now I'm having a blast.

By KingGondo Go To PostGod damn, Doom is great.Take a look at the OP of the TV Set thread and calibrate it. Might take a half hour, but worth it. It shouldn't require anything you don't already have and is free.

Or check to see if http://www.rtings.com/ already has your set and you can do quick calibration from that.
"Zero Dawn is structured quite a bit like the recent Far Cry games. "

It's also sitting on the mantel kind of a shitty viewing angle.
I'd like to get it wall-mounted eventually but it's fine for now.
The game actually looks great now that I adjusted the gamma in the settings.

The only other alternative to curtain pulling or increasing gamma I can think of is to increase the backlight (not brightness) setting and hope that it can get high enough to make the issue go away.

And DOOM looks totally awesome. I'm still amazed at how high of a framerate it can run at. I have settings maxed out and rendering at 4k (but then downsampling (I think that's the term) to 1080p) and have yet to drop below like 110fps on a 1070. It's nuts.
Really damn impressed with how well they maintained the feel of the franchise while making it feel fresh too.
So damn fun.

They go into the mishaps, the happy mistakes, and generally the ups and downs of how the game was developed. Lots of good lessons to be learned for anyone that cares about game design.

Comes out on Wednesday over here instead of Tuesday :(
