Had a couple of errors trying to connect at first but then it was pretty smooth, even on 4G.
Game is fun, still have to get used to how it plays.

Playing Splatoon without a touchscreen map at all times is weird, definitely gonna take some time to get used to. I had fun but honestly what we've seen so far kind of feels like a map pack, I might skip it unless we're shown some genuinely new stuff.

Gameplay's always been the best of any racer I've played. Usually one of the best lookers too. Now performance seems solid as well.
They have a lot to do in the QoL and extra features side of things but things like liveries are coming which is good.

Even though Medal Honor already did a little with the Pacific in an expansion but that was like 15 years ago.
You know what would be interesting? Go further than Wolfenstein: New Order did. You execute the blitzkreig. You bomb Pear Harbor. Teach some kids about the Rape of Nanking. Why? Because a month before that was published, the OG video went live, inspiring a string of these. You cannot imagine the mindfuck when you are working in the field that is being parodied.
I knew I wasn't fit for game development when I was trying to make my own maps in Heroes of Might and Magic 2. Even with all the tools available to me for scripting and such, I simply didn't have the patience to decorate with all the flora and fauna, write the stories, select good music....the grind of polish was just too much. So I began honing criticism instead.

Yeah it's EA so I'm willing to forgive some of these issues, and they're working on it. It really hammers the CPU. Going to try and mess with more settings in a bit.
Like you said it is legit tho. Fuking running across a field is a wreck. Been a couple times when I've been put down with a 1 shotter by some guy and a SKS.
What approach are you taking from the plane? Do you bail in the large cities or the outskirts?
They may be having some issues with Ultra settings at this stage of development. I used the High preset and it runs much better.
