got chicken dinner in pubg duo, and the game winning kill for a total of 6. played a few more rounds in 3 man squad. whole dynamic changes with a squad. copped a awm with a 15x scope from somebody i killed, and watched 3 different groups converge on a mountain top, with dune buggies and vans. Got a couple kills from far away with the 15x scope, and I wasn't even officially in the battle.

Absolutely fucking brutal paired with a 2x or 4x scope. It's like what you'd imagine ARs should work. Two, three shots top. No bullshit.
I see you, you're dead, basically.

I guess I'm buying a new external drive for my Xbox. With Forza 7, Horizon 3, Halo 5, Master Chief Collection and some scattered 360 games, I'm basically at capacity on my 1 TB. The worst generation.
There's other games I want to play when I get my X, too, like Gears 4 and I basically have no space.

Nah my friends I am visiting really wanted to play it.
I never actually got online because lol Bethesda.
Basically there's a bug in the installer where it requires you to have the game size (80GB) available times two. So I downloaded the game, but it wants another 80GB free to "install" it in addition to what was already downloaded via Steam. Same bug my friend came across on Windows and had to clear up 30GB for the "install" but that shit took 20sec so it actually doesn't need all that space.
Needless to say, I'm never gonna play it because Bethesda is trash lol

You can see I've got a ton of space left and I have 30+ games installed, with most of the heavy ones with 4k assets as well. Could probably get away with a 2tb external for a total of 3tb when combined with the internal, if you don't want to spend the $100 on the drive i linked.
@reilo, you sure that's a bug?
Requiring double the file size is standard on PS4 I think for some reason

By Hitch Go To PostYou sure that's a bug?Yeah, it's probably not a bug but a 'feature' of their installer. Dumb either way.

Thanks, Smokey! I probably need a drive that big since the X patches for a lot of these games are gigantic.
The Master Chief Collection X update is going to somehow manage to be like 30 gigs.

Playing Skyrim on the Switch is cool and all, but all it really made me want to do is play modded Skyrim.
So pretty much wasted 50 quid since I’m playing the special edition on PC now (that unlocked for free on release since I owned the original), modded beyond reasonable need.
To top it off, playing it from my bed with a controller.
The Switch version is good though. Graphically, I’d say it holds up well. It plays well, and the gyro for aiming with a bow is a great addition that I’ve added to my Steam controller config.
It just needs mod support, even limited support would be good for the small QoL improvements.
The gesture controls are terrible btw. If you buy the game on Switch, turn that shit off for your own sake.

Having a blast playing The Division on PS4. Just hit the level cap and starting the end game content. So much loot is dropping.
By Nelo Ice Go To PostHaving a blast playing The Division on PS4. Just hit the level cap and starting the end game content. So much loot is dropping.I fucked up
As soon as I hit the level cap I took on one of the legendary enemies who have a little base in the open world, and he dropped a Cadaceus or whatever it's called. It was great, but I ended up dismanting it in the quest for better gear since its main perk gave me faster recharge on my abilities iirc, and I wanted DPS
Never got anything anywhere near as good :(
Its a bit of a shame that by its nature it needs bullet-spongey human enemies. That will always be offputting to a significant portion of its potential audience I think. Also a shame that its too aesthetically grounded to allow for proper cosmetic customisation. Aside from the weapon skins everything looked pretty unremarkable. Hope the sequel launches with every mission being available on the hardest difficulty post-game, rather than the 4 or so rotating ones that The Division launched with
By Hitch Go To PostI fucked upGame has been rebooted afaik with the 1.8 update. Enemies are still a bit spongy but I’m enjoying the fights in the underground dlc. Can be pretty intense when you’re in cqc against enemies that can 1 hit KO you.

Also loot drops like candy. In only 2nd run of underground I got a exotic shotgun. And I hit the cap on Sunday and my gear score has already shot up to 276 lol. But yeah I have no idea what the game was like before but apparently thy have done a lot to improve the game since launch. Player base seems pretty healthy too.
Just started The Division as well on PC Playing through it with the wife and we're enjoying it so far. Enemies aren't so bullet-spongey that it's off-putting. The DZ seems very interesting too.

Saints Row 3 was one of those games I picked up for a few quid in a Steam sale, tried to play about 4 times but never got into it.

It's a good game all the way up to the end game--I've heard end game might be decent now after a years worth of DLC and patches but can't vouch for it, but the campaign is super solid.
say sumfin Dy
i mean do you like pumping endless rounds into one dimensional engagements and enemies? that's still division's endgame. i never hated on the early parts. but if you want a good 12-15 hour run, you can get that out of a lot of games. my only issue was how they were selling it as a long-run type of fpsrpgmmo and its just not built for that.
the only 'good' thing about the division that made it a standout title was the early pvp fukkery - and that's still completely neutered and lame as hell. imagine a borderlands that doesn't ramp up. that's basically the division.
