Siege bros, you can't buy the season 1 characters pack after season 2 releases? you need to grind for them or buy siege money?
By rvy Go To PostSiege bros, you can't buy the season 1 characters pack after season 2 releases? you need to grind for them or buy siege money?or buy the complete pass (comes with the year 2 season pass too ), yeah those are the only options now sadly
By reilo Go To PostWhat games are you playing where you don't have the option to set your thumbstick to be click-to-run?
By DY_nasty Go To Postclick to run is suicide you madmanYeah I'm over here like "wut."
By ATTICUS H Go To Postor buy the complete pass (comes with the year 2 season pass too ), yeah those are the only options now sadlyheh, the complete pass needs to go on sale before I buy it
again anyway, I know it's been on sale but not any decent price
By DY_nasty Go To Postclick to run is suicide you madmanHold to run fucked me over more than click to run ever has in Destiny. I hate hold to run.
By reilo Go To PostHold to run fucked me over more than click to run ever has in Destiny. I hate hold to run.How did it fuck you over? How does adding in a click help.
that's additional reaction and input breh. click to run is like pushing a button to block in a fighting game not called smash
By Random Ass Username Go To PostHow did it fuck you over? How does adding in a click help.
By DY_nasty Go To Postthat's additional reaction and input breh. click to run is like pushing a button to block in a fighting game not called smashNow that I think about it, I think my issue was that by default it was click-to-run but I assumed it was click-to-hold, and so I'd hold and fuck myself over. Once I realized it was click-to-run (default mapping) I never bothered to change it. This was a while ago, I have gotten used to it since.
But you basically have an input before you can even start firing down on some people and have to telegraph when you want to stop even earlier.
By DY_nasty Go To Postyal just hit those corners and get sprayed the fuck up asap huhThis too.
Wait, you guys hold the L3 stick in when you want to sprint?
Wrong'uns
Don't really get how its an issue on corners when you've already moved into a strafe anyway

By Hitch Go To PostWait, you guys hold the L3 stick in when you want to sprint?holding/releasing L3 moving straight (within what's about 30-45 degrees or 10 to 2) is a much narrower and reliable input than clicking in the stick, which also can happen in any direction inadvertently
Wrong'uns

the issue is when you're between point A and point B and you're forced to react. clicking in and out, returning to semi-neutral, and starting to engage is slower than simply releasing that pressure and going into the motions.
its also a clear feel thing too. pushing in the stick feels very different in each direction. releasing is always the same
now that i'm thinking about it and assuming that more than just a few people use click-to-run, i'm starting to think that it could change a LOT of the ways that people play lol
there are so many times that i see people continue to sprint when they should stop and engage. this is kinda making me believe that control style encourages players to push through to what they feel should be advantageous positions instead of breaking down and working on the spot (in low ttk games you're just ded). sprinting in itself has always been some bullshit, but i never considered how its offered to players.

Play style and understanding your advantages/disadvantages goes a long way.

Sy can tell us which console is best for heating up his food abortions. Maybe that will be more up his alley.
This game is so jank but for some reason I can't help but love how disarmingly PS1 it looks. It really feels like it just stepped out of 1999.
By Smokey Go To Postog xbox one is such trasssssssssssssssshBluehole's "click to convert to xbox" wasn't great. Pretty trash developer tbh

both are true
Hilarious that the XBO can't keep up with laptop settings but honestly the game looks like F2P fodder at the best of times.
Did you guys hear they just added vaulting?
Hard not to be impressed.

The Giant Bomb video of the XO version looked really rough, even though Jeff was playing on the X.
The frame rate looked really rough. Every time you're near a cluster of buildings, it tanks. If there's other players around, too, forget it.

it's awful
By Laboured Go To PostAccording to DF the input lag is a special tier of bad too.
It is. i tried messing with settings but in the end there's just horrible lag on the controls that can only be fixed by them.
It's basically OG Xbox version of Counterstrike vs PC version. Yeah it shares the name, but they two completely different games.
By Smokey Go To Postit's awfulThat's the game supposed to move consoles tho right?

If we're talking truly bad ports, the Xbox version of Half-Life 2 ran at like 13 fps. I played it for like an hour before I had to give up because it was giving me headache.
We can shit on VR but really it's the best move for consoles. They need to add some kind of new experience otherwise they just get relegated to expensive Rokus/blu-ray devices as folks get older and see the same tired shit from vgs.

Just finished Last of Us. God damn that story. I can’t say I blame Joel for what he did. Save the human race and sacrifice Ellie or live at Tommy’s. Can’t wait to see the fall out from that in Part 2.

This...looks exactly like the kind of shit you'd find in a bargain bin at a gas station during the Wii era.
