Lords of Thunder just came out today for Wii U Virtual Console. Denied.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostLords of Thunder just came out today for Wii U Virtual Console. Denied.that reminds me of how good Gates of Thunder and its soundtrack was.
the 90s was truly the golden age of gaming.

See above. EA had right of first refusal on any acquisition as part of their previous publishing deal.
By rvy Go To PostVince getting paid means he can set up new shop and take people with him, then they can find a publisher.or he can get all new people. either way he just basically threw the majority of his workers to the wolves for another payday for a man who's already loaded
Did we ever find out what happened when infinity ward imploded?
Last I remember hearing was that Vince and the other guy were up to some shady shit

They could always leave the studio and set up a new one, I'm sure Activision would like that kinda talent working for them...
I have Titanfall 2 from last years PSN Black Friday sales. I haven't played it yet.
Good luck tho, EA is a death sentence in current circumstances. Take the money and run.
Edit:
I forgot that EA sent the sequel out to die in a crowded shooter market in October/November 2016.

By data Go To PostRespawn is dumb as fuckbruh they just got rich, that's a crazy valuation
By rerixo Go To Postbruh they just got rich, that's a crazy valuationThey were already rich. What this deal did, and what is implied by Kotaku, is make them richer while also leading to the closure of Visceral.
So Zampella got paid again and a lot of other people became free agents. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it - it's just business - but it sucks for a lot of people and in the long run it might (probably) end up sucking for EA's Respawn in the future.
By Omzz Go To PostDespawned.
What a name to have when EA eventually kills them off
I can't get over how bad Need for Speed looked in that Giant Bomb video. The speedometer said 120 mph and it looked so damn slow. How can you not even nail a feeling of going fast?
By FortuneFaded Go To PostDoes Nintendo have an account system yet?You can change your account region how many times you want (buying games from South Africa eShop for 41β¬ on day one is a godsend) as long as you have 0 credit on your account.

I had Zelda on the WiiU, but my girlfriend kinda forced me to buy a Switch. The worst part about it was buying Zelda again. Fucking game cost me Β£100 over two versions.
Still, no regrets.
I'm a real sucker for buying a whole console to play just one game. Bought s WiiU for The Wonderful 101, a PS4 for Bloodborne, Would've gone for a Xbox One if Scalebound didn't get cancelled :(
When I was a kid, I got Dreamcast for Christmas just to play Sonic Adventures. That game was like magic to me at the time.
Wonderful 101 and Scalebound
Step aside, sy
Tyler in the new Need for Speed has the most inexcusably shit voice acting I've ever heard. That studio will be lucky to survive til the end of the year. The game seems like a tonal train wreck.

GT Sport review by Lambda
it's fairly shit
- single player is essentially non-existant, it's just licenses under a new name, driving missions where for the most part you can't even pick a car to drive and circuit challenges which are essentially glorified time attack. there's also arcade mode but who the fuck plays that
- i have over 20 cars and i only bought 2 or 3 of them, you can pretty much have 8 or 9 cars in your garage, for free, in 60 to 90 minutes after you start the game. it would be nice but unless you go to arcade mode you can't use most of them
- online is a mess, there's only 3 daily races and one is a maker challenge where everyone drives the same car and only the same 5 or 6 tracks are in rotation. and unless you create a lobby have fun getting into someone else's and wait 10 minutes for the current race to finish
- in online sometimes you car phases through others, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes other cars phase through you, sometimes they don't, it's a fucking mess
- penalties in online mode are busted too, you can get penalized for someone bumping into you and sending you off road
- stock road legal cars handle like bathtubs, driving is only fun if you're playing GR.4 and above racing cars
it does look pretty

Edge gave it a 6. Now I see why.
Car games are so generic these days, how do you fuck that up with years to build it?

I think PD is too focused on the realism of racing and trying to mimic how people make it out to the track on the weekends. By doing that they forgot a crucial thing: people donβt game on a set schedule. Itβs an escape and they want to play video games on a whim. So having scheduled races is really missing the mark about PVP.

This is what I got out of watching a few quick looks and such of it. What a great shame. I miss GT.

The game looks outstanding, but definitely prefer Forza 7 in the overall racing department just donβt like the rules and barriers in Sport. Iβve got it just collecting dust on the console πππ
New PlayStation mobile app looks bad now. More functional but bad visually.
Okami, good game! Lots of collectables for the platinum trophy, but they're all tied to side quests and other creative and original content the devs have written, so at no point did it feel like rehashing or repetitive farming which I appreciate.
It's a good little story. Long (nearly 62 hours total play time) but enjoyable throughout. Really feels and sounds like Zelda; very comparable anyway.
Hard to believe this was Clover's last game before Capcom shuttered the studio. I'm sure there's more to it but what a way to go out.
The game is re-re-releasing next month in 4k ($20) and I'm sure it's going to look insane on PC and current gen hardware.
Post game Easter egg for collecting all the games beads is a playable version of the studios original non-cellshaded design of the wolf for new game plus. It's slick looking.
