By Professor Beef Go To PostCongrats, phoenix RISING, you made Scrub Quotes: https://twitter.com/ScrubQuotesX/status/924111316557611009Deep lore.
Congrats Phoenix, you're an internet sensation.
I'm playing Saints Row The Third again and I was disappointed that the FUZZ side missions from SR2 were absent from this title.
the art direction is different for sure. Looks beautiful though. jeesus

that does look awesome
If you told me in 2011 that healing would look like this or uncharted/horizon/the last of us 2/assassins creed origins/battlefront/field/etc I wouldn't Believe you.
The worst Dota players are the ones who say fuck all during the match, then at the end ask everyone to report you for no reason
Crysis is 10 years old
Still one of my favourite fps games of all time because of the freedom to do fun shit. Back then fps games were more than just corridors and cutscenes. Shame the sequals were shit.

finished shadow tactics: blades of the shogun, fantastic game
play it if you liked the commandos games (but like me back then, never managed to beat them because of the difficulty) or if you're a fan of strategy games in general

Sounds like Rocksteady will be doing a Superman game.
A monumentally shit idea and a waste of a very good studio.

Just what I didn't want
Well it has only been downhill since Arkham Asylum, so not surprised they are not making yet another shit super hero game.
The only games Warner puts out are based on hugely popular existing IP (Mortal Kombat) or properties they own (DC, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter), so I'm not surprised. It's just a bummer that studios like Rocksteady and Monolith are now stuck doing these games.

Well mostly, there is exceptions like Dying Light and fucking Lollipop Chainsaw... and quite a few smaller games (like bastion). But not exactly any bit surprised either.

I played Shadow Tactics when it came out, really enjoyed it, but stopped playing because I started some other games and forgot about it :(
By Hitch Go To PostGameplay reveals of red dead and tlou when
Red dead? Like... A few days before launch. This is R* m8
Super Luckys Tale is out this week. I played Lucky's Tale on Oculus Rift. It was a decent enough platform game and the VR was good but I couldn't ever shake the feeling I was playing something that had just completely ripped off better games.
By W Go To PostRed dead? Like… A few days before launch. This is R* m8
They had a good bunch of gameplay vids prior to RDR.

They don't do it for GTA, but that's about it.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Posthoping MS has more than Halo at e3 this year–Sony is really bringing itThey're not going to show anything that won't release within like a year anymore, so I really don't know what to expect other than Halo 6 and Forza Horizon 4. They'll have a State of Decay 2 expansion, probably. If Crackdown 3 isn't a disaster and sells decently, they might have DLC for that.
Maybe they've finally remembered they have a back catalog of really good IP they can mine for reboots and I finally get my return to MechAssault. Or maybe those Battletoads rumors actualize and people get really disappointed when they play a new Battletoads.
So DF put out a Gears 4 4K HDR XBX Enhanced Video
It actually contains a split screen HDR On/Off mode (starts at 2:03) that you can play with in game, so you can see the difference of HDR on and off in realtime, at the same time. I'm a Patreon member and downloaded the video and am watching it in 4k HDR on my TV. The difference is massive on an actual HDR display. Watching the same video on youtube, the difference is still there in that section of the video, but it's no where near as apparent when you're actually watching it on a HDR screen. Youtube is tone mapping the HDR image back to a standard SDR image to be played on normal computer screens.
Hope more games come with this, but I doubt it. But if yall wanted to get an idea of what HDR brings, this will help.

Netflix hdr has actually really started to improve recently. Strangerthings 2 and Mindhunter have great HDR.
Looking forward to looking at this gears vid when I get home

Yeah but what about the Agent gameplay?!
I must admit I fully forgot about RDR being shown. Not surprised Max Payne or fucking La Noire were though, people were anything but convinced about the new max payne and needed to be convinced, while La Noire was a completely new title. I guess time will tell, RDR was a long time ago at this point and a very proven title, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up not releasing more gameplay trailers than the average GTA trailer that shows... Very little gameplay (with cinematic camera shit).

This might be a standout for HDR from what I'm looking at. Just the way Gears uses lighting and dark scenes, you can really tell. The split screen option is great.

I finished it in a few days, it's not very long. a lot of quicksave abuse due to it's trial and error nature though.

It's so good.
Was Crysis 3 that bad? I never got around to it, but it looked like they attempted to bring back some of the elements that made the first 1 iconic.
