By data Go To Posthow long before edge gives the next zelda an 11
can't wait.
interesting that they gave Odyssey a 10 after it runs at below 60fps with a significant visual downgrade. oh wait, that didn't happen.
By Switchpro Go To Postcan't wait.oh yeah edge definitely knows about games running at stable framerates and acts accordingly

By Hitch Go To PostThink I'm done with Idle Thumbswait why
By HasphatsAnts Go To Postwait whyToo many episodes where they clearly can't be bothered, the jokes are getting worse and they're running with them for longer
Plus it often feels like a two-man podcast these days with Nick only ever getting involved even he's reminded to, and discussion podcasts need 3+ people imo
The exact same thing happened a few years ago when it seemed like they were too busy in their work and personal lives to remain enthusiastic for Idle Thumbs stuff, which is fair enough but has a massive impact on their output
Can't be bothered to wait for it to get good again tbh, these runs have had a tendency to go on for months and months in the past

Huh. Grim Dawn has sold over 1M copies. I didn't expect it to get that big, but I'm real happy for them.
The Evil Within 2 looks very frustrating, personally
Could have been a very enjoyable campy action/mystery game, but from what I've seen it focusses on psychological horror, only its so on the nose that it comes across as tryhard and stupid rather than unsettling, interesting or scary. Ah well, same reason I never gave the first game a go, though the structure of the new one seems much more interesting.
Also if I'm to take the intro as the actual setup, its all happening in some shared mindframe sci-fi bollocks, which instantly puts the stakes at near-zero for me.

Eh, I'll play it, if simply because I enjoyed the first one. TEW doesn't do subtlety, that's for sure, but at least it's honest about it. I imagine it's going to bomb hard. Bombissimo. Zero advertising and the original didn't exactly scream massive appeal.
Down to 80% in Cuphead. It's frustratingly good. Like Hitch.
From what I played, The Evil Within 2 feels better (mechanics wise) than the first. It's also harder. The story is easier to follow as well. The first game didn't really have a stable structure and didn't care about explaining shit. It just ended up throwing you from one horror film short to the next one. In TEW2, by the end of chapter 1 (the intro is long af), you know the basics and have a decent amount of shit cleared up.

I need some more consistency in that, TEW was wack with the camera. Sometimes it was too far, sometimes too close. It worked for RE4, but this isn't 2004 and Tango isn't capped out with talent like Capcom.
I didn't really pay to much attention to that (honestly), but I want to say that it hasn't changed much, if at all. Even with the quick turn, being surrounded is still the worst, thanks to the camera.
By data Go To PostEA will never make Skate 4 and you don't want EA to make Skate 4
also blackbox is dead
By data Go To Postyea boywas hyped until I found out I couldn't customize my character... kind of a deal breaker for me
By Phoenix RISING Go To PostI've heard ELEX is a hot mess. Overgrowth too. It's a PB game so of course it's a hot mess
By rvy Go To Postnew xbawks dashboard is NICEI love how snappy it is. My Games and Apps loads up basically instantly. It doesn't take a million years to show Ready to Install or Updates anymore, either.
It still blows my mind that they shipped the Xbox One dash like it was. They had gotten the 360 to such a good place (even though it didn't like larger hard drives) and it this such a huge step back that it took them four years to get it quick and usable again.

so duh
Got the Master Sword and cleared 2 Divine Beasts in Zelda, got the feeling I'll clear it just in time for Mario.
By data Go To PostSouth Park reviews looking good
Previous one was $10 within a year, I'll be waiting on this one no matter how good it is.
South Park definitely feels more streamlined but its kind of a good thing because you already got all the exploring and reading codex/references to the show in the first game
I really like the new combat system and the writing so far is as good as the first one

By blackace Go To PostIt's a PB game so of course it's a hot messIt's a relatively small studio with 30 people working there and they're still using that old ass engine that's older than the PS3.
With a bigger budget/more staff and a proper engine, they might even release a decent game. But rather not expect something like that from a German developer, the industry is in the shitter over here.
Too bad they're always doing the same game over and over again.
By Switchpro Go To PostNot every country can produce great games like Landwirtschafts Simulator šHaha.
Those games are an anomaly.
Without them, developers would be nearly non existant.
A few smaller ones, Crytek is a burning trash can anyway and all those simulator studios.

You misunderstood. That game is ours not yours. I was bragging that not every country can make games as awesome as mine :P
super late to the party...but man, i'm really shocked by Ghost Recon Wildlands' geography:
Probably the best I've seen in a game.
Gameplay wise I'm finding it to kind of be what MGSV was trying to do without the BS--I can just jump in a helictoper and quickly get to my next objective. No long dumb climb in and out cutscenes, then awkward base management, etc. Took redblasters advice and am playing on extreme so while you can still have a power fantasy of clearing out bases, the fact that you go down in just a couple of shots prevents you from feeling overpowered.
It's a really good game.

Iām shocked ubi released a game with awful animations after a decade of decent stuff. Hell, Division has much better animations
By Kidjr Go To PostDid Smokey really say he was looking forward to an AC game in 2017.
