The most vocal critics/players of destiny are the extreme minority. It's always been that way. They complain about shit that doesn't even register with everyone else.

It let's you do some calibration before you start which includes brightness. I havent watched the whole thing, but it's a great feature.

Don't care about the lootboxes at all, but not desperate to play it just yet. Maybe when I'm properly finished with xcom and destiny I'll look to SoW to fill the gap
There's a lot that I'd have liked to be better in D2, but I'm happy enough just playing an hour of iron banner a day and a bit more on Tuesdays for the powerful gear
I expected more content to be adjusted for post game to extend the tail, but thats not the case in the slightest unfortunately. Combine that with the fact that your drops seem to quickly top out between resets and the small pool of exotics, and it doesn't provide much reason to grind unless you want one of everything.

I downloaded Digital Foundry's 4k HDR videos as a Patreon member, onto a USB drive, and watched it on my TV in HDR. To Reilo's comment, dark1x and I have the same TV and have been communicating awhile about settings, and yeah, the ability to completely negate LGs terrible decision making by cranking brightness specifically for HDR is amazing. Every game should do it. After watching the GT Sport video in its entirety, I'm pretty sure it's going to be the showpiece title for PS4 tech. At least it should be. They're also shipping with a VR mode, which should be interesting.

I just got it in mail gonna see what it's about. The first was ok but then got repetitive REAL quick.
PS4 Pro gets two settings two IQ settings to choose from : Quality and Resolution, with DF saying Quality mode is best option.
1830p is the max it gets to (staring at the sky). 1620p is the typical output. "Vastly" better looking game over base PS4. Pro use on 1080p screen gets you supersampling.
DF about to eat with One X launching next month. Devs said this game will be native 4k over there. Interesting to see how that holds up across third party games on each system.
GT Sport might get me to jump in with PSVR. Especially now that they've announced the revision with less wires and allows for HDR pass through.

PSVR 2 (model number CUH-ZVR2) will have stereo earbuds built into the design. The original requires a separate, included pair to be plugged into a volume remote on the main cable.
In addition, the connection cable will be slimmer and more streamlined, reducing the weight and drag of the existing leads.
Perhaps most welcome is a new processor unit with HDR passthrough. The current version does not allow you to play games in HDR on a TV while it is connected. You do get 4K resolutions, but high dynamic range visuals are not able to transmit through the box, even when the PSVR is inactive.

I was looking at the trade in values of some of my physical ps4 and ps3 games this morning. I think I rather throw them away or let them gather dust than get 25 cents.
