By Smokey Go To PostSomebody on GAF said they're having a hard time hiring as everybody in Korea wants to develop for mobile .I mean, it doesn't really matter who they hire or how many they hire. It will take just about anyone a month to get familiar enough with the codebase to start working on making a big change which will then take probably at least another couple months to implement and then some days or weeks to test. Adding more people doesn't make the work quicker.
Sounds like they need to use that cash and outsource yesterday then because they need to step it up.
By Professor Beef Go To PostTekken 7 for $35 on PSNI might as well too. Wish it had a tutorial
Looks like I'm jumping in.
Edit: maybe not. Getting good at fighting games is an incredible time sink.

I dunno not know why you wouldn't want your work to be underappreciated by millions. Sounds like good work.
By EldritchTrapStar Go To PostThis is going to be the most depressing city building game ever. That seems to be their goal
they should see some of my cities after the natural disasters skylines expansion though. tough to beat skyscrapers full of corpses.

Love videogames so much that you get a job that underpays you for your skillset and doesn't let you play videogames.

GT Sport is pretty good
Kinda annoyed I got rid of my steering wheel now, though I'm not sure it was PS4 compatible anyway

By data Go To Postnot gonna lie this shit looks tighttight how? Is the same ac bs formula
I mean the setting is nice enough but I can't bring myself to play another ass creed game ever again, unless they start over from scratch and don't have 1000 people across 3 different continents working on it

AC been in a trash-loop since 3
Shit, I remember getting hyped over AC3 because I thought it's gonna be RDR good but with parkour. It just turned out to be awful.
That 10 hour long tutorial.
The buggy mess it was
The native protag being totally bland, had about as much personality as Altair. Even Altair had an arch (arc?)
Wasn't even about assassinating people, which is what I thought ac was supposed to be from the start anyway
Those present day sections
I pre-ordered that shit too.
never again

I finished Danganronpa. The game was really good, enough twists and mysteries that I couldn't put it down until the end.
Not sure if I want to dive right into the sequel, or if I'll get burned out on the formula if I keep going.

By s y Go To PostAC origins is gonna be the Witcher but woth Dark Souls combat
lol
I was listening to the Giant Bombcast and Forza 7 sounds like a real bummer between the economy, the progression and the loot boxes. This is the worst generation of games.
By rodeoclown Go To PostThis is the worst generation of games.
In terms of big publishers, it absolutely is. I don't even know what all the big holiday titles are. Not for hipster reasons, I just never even thought to check after E3, the part of my brain that cares never turned back on.

i played the sequel immediately after finishing the first, no regrets. it's even better. unlike the 999 series which gets worse with every sequel.

By rvy Go To PostStop this madness manI tried. Beat the whole thing. Should have been 6-8 hours instead of 15.
Cool inventory system. Might buy RE6. Looks fun.

I'll always believe pre-ordering AC3 was the best thing I could've done, it being so terrible broke the charm the series had over me
After Brotherhood, I didnt see any reason to buy another creed. Everything after that was just the same unless you like the ship combat. I tried the free one you got in PS+ and that was trash too. Even then, I dont think any of the AC games are that good. The best one is like a 6 to 7/10.
AC Origins seems like a big enough change with it being a full RPG, the loot, you being able to climb everything, the new combat and hard mode.

The original Assassin's Creed is the worst game of the seventh generation for me.
The second game is not terrible, in fact, outside of what I thought was an absurdly drawn out introduction where they hold your hand for far too long, it's actually pretty damn enjoyable (minus the Animus stuff) from start to finish. Brotherhood felt more like an expansion but it too wasn't a bad game.
Those games are all full of jank, pop-up and bad AI too. There's really nothing outside of the parkour that stands out about the series for me. It's a stealth game that doesn't have a crouch or creeping animation. You just stand upright, walk up to enemies and stab them in the neck over and over again between cutscenes.
I own the two games that followed Brotherhood (cheap holiday buys from Gamefly) but never felt compelled to play them because I was just burnt out on the series formula. The present day portion of the games is just horrendous.
Origins definitely looks like it's going for that Witcher rpg look with all those numbers popping out of enemies. Yuck.

Pretty much. That's also why origins is attractive. Seems like theyve addressed some of my biggest issues.
Also, Dark Souls 3, how long is this Ashes of Ariadel DLC? I finally beat Sister Friede(3 phases go fuck yourself) and now im going through this are with no drop damage. Fighting two flame bosses. This Fire Fades edition was great value.
I think I still have the Ringed City DLC to play and I have to beat the Nameless King boss.
Bloodborne seems short in comparison.

RE4 is good. sy just a buster.
Also AC3 broke me. I was so hyped over having a native-american protag but I would've literally had rather played as someone from any other race with how bad they bungled him. Plus the Desmond sections were handled even worse, if you could believe it. I was so into that fuckin' story, and they shat on all of it. Fuck that series.

By s y Go To PostMario got a 10/10 from Edge.
They also gave LittleBigPlanet, The Last of us and both Bayonettas 10s
Bayos deserved it. The other two are maybe 6/10s.
Now Odyssey is a clear cut 10.
