Still struggling a bit with concealment in xcom. Having one soldier concealed muddies it a bit, it feels like I should be hidden but I keep aggroing enemies
The entire thing is a bit of a mess, and one that is impossible to solve really. If you got the jump on every group of enemies, it'd be too easy. But revealing a mob near the end of your turn seems a bit unfair, especially with the turn limit preventing overwatch creeping
Maybe I should give those scanner grenades a go now that I have spare inventory slots

Battlefront 2 gives me the same feeling as Battlefield 1 which is basically the multiplayer version of Uncharted(because Uncharted MP is trash) but what I mean is it looks awesome and it feels awesome. Like not just graphically but the situations you're in when its you and a bunch of rando clone troopers holed up in a dining room with robots storming in and a giant starship crashing outside. but it doesn't make me want to play a ton of it. the combat is fine and it feels like icould 'get better' but never enough that it would really matter. everything feels like circumstance and its a really great excitement simulation of everything going on but the actual playing is 'eh its ok' and i dont even mean the shooting.
it also seems like they missed a huge opportunity not letting you visually customize the class characters(I assume? Ik now the heroes have other skins)

The whole point of boss fights is to utilize all the mechanics you’ve learned. If you’re gonna skip that, that means you aren’t interested in actually playing and are just in it for the story and at that point why the hell are you wasting money on a video game? Read a book or if you aren’t capable of that go watch some SyFy movies, they’re better quality
So because of someones disability (I think someone in the thread mentioned they found longer + harder input sequences causing unbearable pain and so they often just give up) they shouldnt be allowed to play certain games and show read a book? Why bother with brialle or sign language for people who cant hear etc.
I dont even get why you care if the option is there, I find it so baffling, the option to skip bosses will not have any detrimental effect on your experience.
What is it to you if someone wants to enjoy a game but physically cant and having the option may open up more genre's and games to them.
I dont see why anyone can be so against it.
The best thing about the Battlefront 2 beta is actually the starfighter mode surprisingly--which I thought would just be some cheesy afterthought of a mode but has me thirsty for a full Rogue Squadron sequel.
The on foot gameplay is pretty terrible. There's literally a capture the flag mode where you essentially have to grab the flag, the spawns switch, and you're having to deliver the flag around the new spawn point for the enemy...which was kind of your old spawn point. Lol.
And going 60fps for the ps4 pro mode was a bad tradeoff--the visual fidelity is just horrific. Should have been a lock for checkerboard 4k and a locked 30 and instead we got 1080p with weird artifacting and 60fps.

BF1 on Pro runs at 1800 w/ checkerboarding along with ~'60fps.
I can't see them giving One X 4k treatment and leaving PS4 Pro users out to dry. Can't see Sony allowing that. Not with that marketing deal.
