Probably not. Outside of the big franchises, it's hard out here for racing games.

So Fortnite Battle Royale will be free for everyone this weekend, and not just a free weekend, but actually f2p with microtransactions probably coming from cosmetic stuff.

Expecting a lot more of this now that PUBG is what it is. I like the aesthetic of it, and the building aspect adds a nice wrinkle to Battle Royale.

It was fucking great, loved it and Split/Second even more. Two fantastic games.

Another arcade racer I loved from that time was Blur, it's basically Mario Kartish racer with cars.

Split/Second is secretly among the best racers of the last gen. Great sense of speed and the destruction on the environments was amazing.
I say this all the time was Burnout Paradise was so ahead of its time. Fuck EA for killing Criterion
Burnout Paradise is so good that I own it both on 360 and Steam. I don't even know how many hours I've dumped into that across platforms.

Literally press a button on the D-pad and you're online freeroaming.

Price and performance of Xcom 2 is putting me off. Watched enough of it now that I think I can handle the turn limits which put me off massively, but according to recent Reddit posts it's still a technical shitshow on PS4, and it's too expensive for me to just take a chance on it
Hopefully there's a ps+ discount soon to encourage people to get into it and buy the expansion
Can you run all the DLCs at the same time on console? Are the ones pre-War of the Chosen even worth buying?

Depends on how much you care about customization. The extra weapons are interesting but their mostly for variety's sake and doesn't affect balance too mucch.
There's an option to double your turn limits during missions. Better way to play imo.

Who lied to Sakaguchi and told him that the movement in Terra Battle 2 was okay for the type of game it is? The time based movement on these large ass maps would be fine, but the loose janky controls are somewhat of a detriment to the gameplay. That sucks, because I genuinely like the rest of the mechanics.
