this couldn't be any more true as it concerns the park
like--all anyone wants with the park is for the connectivity and ability to get into games to improve, nobody gives a shit about any of this other stuff--it was absolutely extraneous to the issues with the park then it'd be one thing, but all that shit going on can't help the lag involving the park in the least I'd imagine

First raid is only 20 days after release, getting ready for that may give me some extra incentive to carry on playing past the point where I fell off in the first one

if strikes were the only thing to do at launch then i'd be shook too but that's like.... not even remotely the case lol
people ran strikes all the time in d1 because that was the only way to get 'real' rewards in between events and they also just happened to be the only matchmade pve available. also they were the only pve instance to actually grow with the game. bungie never reworked missions but strikes were always updated. by the time ttk and roi dropped, the story missions were often better than the strikes anyways
