its the WORST UI i've ever seen. and to make it worse they don't even give you a real manual

i knew what to do because of the older titles, but that 'tutorial' they have is a joke

i dont know why they've done.... any of this
also, its got a hard-to-look-at quality that the psp games never had
Anybody here every repaired scratches on CD/DVDs with toothpaste?
I'm gonna sell my Dreamcast and some of the games got some big ass scratches. They still run, but I want them to look a bit better.

By DY_nasty Go To Postno. seriouslyI tell you but none you all listen, sucks as a competitive team action game. Too floaty, bad stage awareness, crystal mechanic sucks, literally just dash and charge.

Square Enix has an amazing competitive team game in Gunslinger Stratos, but nah give it to Team Ninja instead.

Toothpaste works a little but don't expect any miracles.
PS3 CFW is a godsend, I now have a machine that runs PS3, PS2, PSX and PSP games. Now, if I could only get RetroArch to scan my MAME rom directory, I would have a perfect emulation machine.

Because I don't use it anymore. Even though I pretend the willingness to get back to it, but I just don't do it.
Rather get the machine to someone who actually uses it. Sold Shenmue 2 earlier the year for 80€, 1 for 60€.
If I really want to get back to it, I'll use an emulator. Also my game selection was pretty dire, some games got lost in the process of moving.
Apart from Shenmue which I sold, I got Phantasy Star Online,Dead or Alive 2, Crazy Taxi,Headhunter, Soul Calibur, Chu Chu Rocket.
Also trying to sell my PS3 and my brothers old NES.
It's fucking hard to sell some of my older PS3 games that were on the german index or even banned....
Can't sell Sleeping Dogs, The Darkness 2 international edition legally. The international version of Saints Row 3 only to a local shop and so on.
Bayonetta, The Darkness 1 and the Steelbook from Yakuza 4 are something I could sell, but ebay here got fucking shit rules for an 18+ title. You basically have to pay shipping that guarantees that the delievery dude checks out the ID card, if the person is over 18. Costs like 5€ and is just not worth it with these titles.
By jjasper Go To PostSo as someone who doesn't really play a lot of competitive multiplayer shooters is it worth trying?Have you played any batle royale games before? It is one of those with gameplay being a mix of arcade (powerups, falling from heights with little damage, bandaging up wounds to get back to full health lioke you were never shot) and simulation (projectile speed, bullet drop, fuel in vehicles, damage model, single life).
By Pennywise Go To PostYeah, a few minor scratches got better.Yeah, that's understandable. Need to turn my Dreamcast on again, don't have many games but that's easily "fixed".

I have way too many consoles connected right now. The PS3 is on my room's LCD as I've been messing around with homebrew and CFWs, the downstairs living room's old CRT has the Mega Drive and the Wii, the upstairs living room 4K Sony Bravia has the PS4 while the Switch moves around my room and the upstairs living room but I've been mainly using it in handheld mode for Sonic Mania.
By jjasper Go To PostSo as someone who doesn't really play a lot of competitive multiplayer shooters is it worth trying? It's not really a competitive shooter. The reason why PUBG is so successful is because it appeals to a wide range of players. Moba players, FPS players, strategy players, etc. At the PUBG invitational, Evermore won by getting like 4 kills across 3 games. The game lets you play how you want which is why it's so successful.
Want straight up action? Drop down at military base, school or major cities. Want to just survive until the end? Drop down in some remote area and wait it out.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostYeah, that's understandable. Need to turn my Dreamcast on again, don't have many games but that's easily "fixed".I'll get my 360 back, my brother used it for SkyGo for quite some time as it was the only console with an app for it. But the cunts from Sky are getting rid of it. So I'll still have a machine for last gen games, plus I still got my PS2. Might need to fix the laser one day :/

Sold my Wii last year to a friend, who is using it as console for his little kid who really loves it, so I'll gladly let go.
Never had a Mega Drive myself, only my uncle back in the day. You can't even imagine what a pain it was to get the Dreamcast running without the right TV. My 4k TV doesn't have a SCART adapter and I had no idea how to use the antenna thing on the TV, so I had to get to my mums place and try it out on her LCD, because there was still a SCART adapter.
I really enjoyed the heck out of my old consoles, but over the last 6+ years or so, I barely touched them at all. It's already hard enough to catch up with the recent game releases.
Watched a lot of the Destiny 2 EDZ footage from Gamescom.
This is it. This is the series' Diablo 2 moment.
Gonna go in for $70 on the game+ season pass. With a friend to run the game with, I'll be ready

By data Go To PostWow Capcom is just straight up ripping off Soul Calibur characters for SFV now
Rose + Viola + Bridget + Sadira
I mean...its better than fuckin' Abigail

mechanically he might be the best character they've made since 4
Quake Champions is definitely fun but they need to make it quicker to get into games and out of them. As fast as the gameplay is, I need to be able to drop into matches much quicker than this(not the matchmaking but the actual match startup)
If I get into this that'll be 6 multiplayer games I'm invested in currently. Might be a little overkill.

Click if you want more and faster localised Yakuza games
By RobNBanks Go To Postwhere can i click to get yakuza on pcu can't
that Yakuza PC game is probably some mobile like crapshoot.
By s y Go To PostWhy do people even want a another shenmue? Yakuza exists.Different game and a closure of the story.
That's like saying why do people want KH when FF exists.

the games aren't even similar.
By Pennywise Go To PostDifferent game and a closure of the story.idk, the gameplay seems so similar. KH and FF's gameplay couldn't be more different.
That's like saying why do people want KH when FF exists.
By Kibner Go To PostFF XV and KH are pretty close. How so? KH is realtime, fast paced, almost character action game play while FF is no where near that.
Yakuza and Shenmue seem very close.
By Kibner Go To PostThat is how FF XV's combat works, Psy.in no way shape or form is XV's combat system close to that of a character action game. Timing and execution are not needed, almost at all. Have you played KH1 , II or FP? That's like saying XV's combat is close to DMC or Ninja Gaiden.
Apart of the Versus to XV backlash was how the combat system doesn't play anything like KH.
By s y Go To PostHow so? KH is realtime, fast paced, almost character action game play while FF is no where near that. They're not, one is a martial arts adventure with walking simulator type shit and the VF engine for fighting. The other is a beat em up about the Yakuza.
Yakuza and Shenmue seem very close.
Yeah, I've played all of them. And the similarities are close enough for most casual players to categorize them as the same type of gameplay. Doesn't mean that one isn't better than the other but they are similar in gameplay.
By rvy Go To PostThey're not, one is a martial arts adventure with walking simulator type shit and the VF engine for fighting. The other is a beat em up about the Yakuza.I see. Thanks for explaining. I never played Shenmue, it's just that watching the videos, even the combat seems close.

By s y Go To Postthat doesn't make any type of sense.I mean sf2 and guilty gear fall under the same umbrella of gameplay but are still wildly different from each other. Don't see why that's hard to understand.
