The thing that rubbed me wrong about Quake Champions when I played the alpha or beta was that every time you started a match, it did a slow overview of your teams and the map

I dunno, it's just not my thing anymore. I bet I can enjoy the single player campaign one day, but this MP just isn't for me anymore.
Felt like COD and felt pretty good, but I wasn't really used to these map sizes anymore after playing BF.
This is what I was concerned about. It looks way too tight especially when you have BF1 as a reference.

It's not just map size for me anymore. I just can't get into competitive online shooters. Period. I've played both Destiny and Battlefront this gen and both had me bored to tears waaaaay before I should have been bored. Part of that is that I'm older now and play at odd times. My friends don't play as much and I hate joining matches with randoms. Then I gotta deal with some young punk with fast twitch reflexes talking shit and his ball haven't even dropped yet. I'm sure this effects my overall enjoyment, but I've become mostly interested in campaigns this gen. Which competitive FPS's generally fail at.

By Smokey Go To Postand Longshot SP Story Mode actually supposed to be relatively nice.Started and completed it yesterday. It's good but short. I know people complained about the FIFA story mode being short but the NFL one is a lot shorter but there is more work put into it. I did encounter a bug where Dan Marino turned invisible and people were shaking their hands with nothing.

Phantasy Star IV is so fucking good, it's making me wonder why I bothered with II &III. It's practically Suikoden II-tier, I'm kind of blown away tbh. I know I fall for it every year but this fixes some of the main issues with the mode
Especially this one, some cards were useless if you only had 3-4 badge slots and someone had wasted pick dodger, post spin technician and chase down artist on them
This year you’ll be able to replace badges you apply to a card.

My biggest issue with myteam is that the sliders are on amateur. it's disgusting. The lowest seed should start on superstar.

IIRC if you're in a much higher tier than your opponent you could be on superstar and they can be on all star.
