Nintendo just released info about their sales up until June 30th.
Switch was at 4.7M (should have cleared 5M by now), Zelda sold 3.92M, Mario Kart 8 3.54M and ARMS did 1.12M in just 2 weeks.

Splatoon 2 first week in Japan - 648k, 99k Switches sold. Splatoon 2 already has an attach rate of nearly 55% in Japan, not including digital sales.
Finally joined in with PUBG. Having fun so far but man are these controls are janky as hell. Coming from Titanfall 2/ CSGO it just doesn't feel fluid at all. Hope this improves but I suspect it won't.

The Switch is ahead of that pace and they can't even make them because Apple's sucking up the global NAND supply. If they can meet demand they're going to curb stomp the Xbone.
But aside from that I mean, yeah. The XB1 has actually sold fine in a vacuum, it's mostly just lost out on brand perception.
