bought bayo 1 on the steam sale and then refunded it after playing it for 9 minutes
graphics look turrible and i realized i have no patience for these type of character action games anymore. getting old sucks.

Enjoying Destiny a lot more this time around, for some reason
Played with an absolute tit doing the first strike though, he was just pissing about in the first area shooting trash while me and another random were grinding through the actual objectives. Reported him for inactivity, call me Snitch.
Intended to pay attention to the story this time, but just can't do it. Too many lofty pronouns, too much said instead of showed, too much grimoire. Ah well.

By Smokey Go To PostMan PUBG pulled me back in hard last weekend. Probably put in 15hrs+ . Played Duos for the first time ever and that was pretty fun even with a random. They're working on vaulting and the ability to jump through windows for next update. Vaulting will be huge.
So many times I know some asshole is behind the little wall but I can't do shit without exposing myself, with the update being able to just hop over makes so much difference. That's something I felt a lot of BR games needed but they never really implemented it. If the games were first person it wouldn't be so bad but in third person you just get people hiding behind shit, adding in more movement options helps counter that.
By Hitch Go To PostEnjoying Destiny a lot more this time around, for some reasonMessage me when you want to group up with someone. Even if I'm playing another game, as long as I'm not actively doing it with another friend, I'll drop it and join ya.

By Switchpro Go To Postif they're very limited i will try to send you an euro version Gondo (if you want)That would be dope. Thanks man.
I own a bunch of those games on VC...not Final Fantasy III or Secret of Mana though. Never played Yoshi's Island.
I...kind of want that. Wish it had more games though, feels like there are some marquee titles missing (Chrono Trigger? Axelay?). And why Hyper Fighting over Super?

they have a SSF2 to sell you for $40
I give the collection a B. Too much Kirby, No DKC2 or Chrono Trigger, and HF over SSF2 is dumb. Glad that FX games are in it though

So, I would not put it past any of the parties involved for that to be the case. But that's based on Super Turbo, which was never on SNES. Regular Super is already on VC, and I'll always go to that over HF for the extra characters.
It does have the corny announcer though, so maybe HF has more nostalgia value?
By reilo Go To PostIf the SNES Mini fixes the CT load times that would be worth the $80 alone.there's no CT.

After playing it abunch in Dream Land collection, I might say Kirby's Dream Land is more fun honestly
By jjasper Go To PostNo one wants Kirby gamesI do. I almost bought a Wii U because of Kirby. Almost.
Secret of Mana is among the GoATs and I won't hear otherwise.
I'd love a snes mini
i imagine there will be like 7 in existence just like the nes mini though. Bad enough that went for like triple msrp thanks to resellers, this has an unreleased game so this shit is gonna go for more than an Xbox one x

Nintendo claims they will have an higher stock than they had for the NES Classic but they only guarantee shipments for this year.
I went to high school with a dude who runs a Target. I wish I was tight with him and we could run a pre-order deal because you know these things are going to be popping off for the holiday. I would just sit on them for a month and then unload off Craigslist or eBay.

Dude... Get on that
And I don't need these little plastic rom holders taking up space in my house. Just launch the Switch VC already...
I bought the WD2 dlc on the Steam sale. That's probably it for me. I played a little of Hollow Knight. It controls well but that drab color palette gets old quick.
By RobNBanks Go To PostFinally beat Enemy Unknown on classic ironman. Enemy Within next or should I just play 2?Enemy Within was better than Xcom 2 imo
But that's not saying either is anything other than great

The most bizarre thing I see about FF15 is people sayign 'yeah the story's bad but I liked the combat'
??????
Is this the first video game youve ever played? Combat on the 2600 had better combat. I can name 10 JPRGs/Action RPGs on the PS2 with better combat. Brave Fencer Musashi has better combat. Kingdom Hearts 1 has better combat. Tomba has better combat.

By RobNBanks Go To PostXcom long afVanilla or Long War?
I meet upgraded enemies and keep thinking oh maybe this near the end, then it just keeps going
Edit: Nevermind, just saw. I'd play Enemy Within IMO, but I'll freely admit I'm biased. That said, I'm excited for the XCOM2 expansion.
Also that SNES makes me wish I wasn't broke.

HF runs/plays better.
Super wasn't as hot in the streets, snes nor arcades.
Super Famicom classic games list when tho?
Nearing the end of Persona 5.... honestly, the gap between it and Berseria really isn't as huge as I thought it'd be. The pacing issues absolutely thrash Persona. Its nonsensical how bad it is. There were multiple points where I played NOTHING for entire sittings. Once? Sure. Intro? Expected. For major plot points? I'd be somewhat alright with that every now and then, its a JRPG after all.
No. Persona 5 is fucking tripping.
No. Persona 5 is fucking tripping.
I don't think I had the same pacing issues. I think the game wobbles a bit between dungeons 4 and 5 but finds its groove again with 6 and 7.
I played some of the WD2 DLC. I really loved Watch Dogs 2, but I REALLY don't understand the point of tiny DLC mission packs in single player games months from release. Like I get it for multiplayer, that's not something you 'beat' and I understand big meaty expansion packs liek Blood and Wine
But why in the world do you think I want to relearn the controls/characters of the game months after the fact so I can play 2 hours worth of isolated missions?

My birthday is like 3 days after this thing comes out, and out of the blue today half my family was like "oh, we know what to get you for your birthday this year." So, maybe I'll wait.

It doesn't have the loading that plagues the PS versions of FF III, so there's that.
