For anyone curious, FF XIV runs pretty well on a PS4 Pro in full HD mode. 60 fps in dungeons and 30 fps in the overworld. Load times are pretty quick, too. And since the game is built around console controls, I don't feel gimped at all when using them. I need to get a wireless keyboard so I can chat, though.
I always loved that Square did it in game, and literally had splashy cutscenes of the old world being obliterated.

Once I found out that PvP doesn't take into account gear and the roles and classes are more balanced, I decided to give it a shot. It won't ever be e-sports level, but it's a bit better than most other mmo pvp I've played.

It won't ever be e-sports level, but it's a bit better than most other mmo pvp I've played.If it weren't for Destiny I'd probably have put all my time into FFXIV (their console version came a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ways too. ran like cardboard at one point).

Play the main quest line until you're given the blue tunic, you'll miss some important stuff that makes the game more enjoyable.

how are you supposed to use Legends in Play Now? I watched a stream where you could sub in Ted Williams and Ken Griffey Jr to your starting line-up in play now, but I can't do it in the game.
I figured it out, had to go into roster control.
