Show us your set-up
Since most of us on here love gaming, movies and music I thought it would be fun to have set-up thread. Pretty standard on lots of entertainment forums so I don't suppose it needs much introduction. But this is the place to share some pics of your set-up. Obviously it would be nice to list some specs so people can be inspired. Also a place to look for suggestions on improvement etc. With the current amount of 4K TV's and the recently released PS4 Pro I hope to see some cool set-ups in here. I'll kickoff the thread with my work in progress.
Overview of my set-up. I live alone in a studio (student) apartment and this is the living room. This is my main spot for gaming as I'm a console peasant primarily.
TV: Philips 32PFL3517H/12
Consoles: PS4 (500GB version), Wii U and Xbox 360.
Amplifier: NAD D3020
Music streamer: Bluesound Node 2 (connected to the amp via toslink)
Speakers: Dali Opticon 2 (on Dali Connect stands)
Laptop: MSI GE40 Dragon Eyes
Speakers: Harman/Kardon Soundsticks III
I'm currently in the middle of updating basically everything. I started by adding speakers, the amp and the streamer. The amp is temporary because I'm waiting for the NAD C338 to come out. The other obvious thing to replace is my TV. Brought it with me from my bedroom at home, 32 inch is way too small for this situation. Eyeing the 49KU6400 from Samsung. Will hopefully be able to get one early next year. And lastly I want to add a new record player since my old Philips died on me. Most likely going to be a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon.
So Slaent, show us your set-ups!

That laptop is sad. It makes me sad. It makes everyone sad. You should feel sad. You should feel bad.
Haha, have to say I never even thought about that sticker. But yeah, it looks better now without and cleaned up. Probably says enough about how much I care about the looks of my laptop. It's just a workhorse for me, nothing more.
Cleaned up my TV area. Dusted, organized cables a bit, tossed a now broken PS3.
TV: Samsung KS8000 55"
Receiver: Denon AVR-S720W
Front speakers: Technics SB-C700
Subwoofer: Rythmik F15HP
Speaker stands: Swan Diva Stands

I blame imgur, personally.
E: also, lol at random imgur people down voting my image and posting an image macro about it in the comments. Teaches me to ever upload something with the imgur phone app ever again.
e2: figured out the dumb privacy settings
By reilo Go To PostThat coffee table doesn't belong lolIt really doesn't but it's a hand-me-down as old as I am. It also fucks up IR signals so that I have to angle my remotes around it. :(
There are also some antique red furniture around the house that look like they came out of a brothel, but they are kinda family heirlooms. My brother is the only other person who could use them, but he doesn't want it, either.
In the case of that furniture and the coffee table (and accompanying night stand), I want to find someone that will actually use it and take care of it before I get something else. I don't just want to sell it on Craigslist or anything. It's stuff I grew up with around my dad (who passed when I was younger) so there is an unreasonable amount of emotional attachment to them, too.
I eventually want to replace them. Just not sure what is going to be the breaking point since it is all still functional.

Unlike Kibner, I'm not going to borrow someone else's books to pretend I can read
Book used so I can easily swivel the tv: GRE Mathematics Subject Test
Radiator: Atlantic
Cup: 20oz Stainless Steel Tumbler Cups (2 Pack) The Imperial Pint Cup By Greens Steel (600ml)
USB fan: ARCTIC Breeze Spain - Countries Edition - USB Desktop Fan with Flexible Neck and Adjustable Fan Speed
Clock: MeasuPro CCT400 Digital Timer, Clock, and Stopwatch with Four Channels
My desk chair died a couple of days ago.
Old consoles are all stored elsewhere, only got the PS4 hooked up and the PC to play games.
By Hitch Go To PostIs that Jim Weiß? ¬¬I got no idea who that is, but the guy on TV is some shitty reporter from Sky Sports Germany.

By reilo Go To PostCool Ikea, pleb.I'm in student accommodation. Most of it is nailed down and part of the room. The tv stand I bought was £20. It's customised. There's supposed to be a divider in the middle of the top shelf but didn't bother putting it in so I could fit the ps4 and speakers.
Also I'm not going to spend money on furniture since I'm moving across the Atlnatic to start my phd later this year.
By Kibner Go To PostI like the fan. :)I've got multiple, they are surprisingly powerful yet quiet. Like my orgasms.
By Kibner Go To PostThe ones on my table are:I also have the art of He-Man book. Which is actually pretty fucking rad.

I've got a kindle, but I just like going to the book store and buying a book. Especially like a hardback one.
By Kibner Go To PostNext task is to clean up my computer setup to make it presentable and take a picture of it.Oh hey, so I finally did this and reorganized it a bit. I would prefer a different desk (hate the computer enclosure) but it was free so whatever.
By Smokey Go To Postft02 trigger on goI don't OC and the fans never have to rev above low speeds. The desk I had before this was different and my case just sat on the floor. It was half the width of this one, though.
how can it breathe
e: also, when i game, i pull out that keyboard tray for my gaming mouse and keyboard which gives the case a lot more room up top
By zfzmikey Go To Postwhat keyboard is that?My work keyboard and mouse are on the top of the desk and they are the Kinesis Advantage 2 and Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4.
In the keyboard tray underneath, I have my gaming mouse (Zowie EC2-A) and keyboard (Realforce 87UB-EK45).
Super neat, I always enjoy looking at ergo setups like that. Have always wanted to give the DataHand a try.
Looks a bit too bulky for my work setup, need decent desk space for paperwork.

By zfzmikey Go To PostSuper neat, I always enjoy looking at ergo setups like that. Have always wanted to give the DataHand a try.It takes up about the same desk surface area as a standard 104-key keyboard. The top is a little taller, but makes up for it by being horizontally shorter.

Just as a comparison...
Realforce 104ub: 17.9 x 6.6 = 118.14 sq. in.
Kinesis Advantage 2: 16.50 x 8.0 = 132 sq. in.
Pic of that Realforce:
The smaller width is probably more beneficial to desk space than the taller height. The thickness of the Advantage is an issue if you are using a tray (which it doesn't sound like you do).

It's actually the height that matters in my instance, unfortunately. I'm a bit addicted to the open frame due to how easy they are to clean as well.
Currently using an MK Fission w/ Cherry Silvers (17.25" x 5.50" x 1.50), and outside of Topre, I don't think I'd consider any other switch type at the moment. On top of that, I absolutely need a tenkey. I get by with a TKL at home for personal use, but I spend probably just as much time on the tenkey as I do the 87 key portion.
