Street Fighter V Teaser: Exclusive to PS4 and PC
- Page 1 of 1
So far there's zero details available for the game, but we'll update as we get more information. It's also possible that the title is only a timed exclusive for PS4 and PC and will be coming to Xbox One later in 2015. This would follow the staggered release history of Street Fighter IV, which first came out in 2008 as an arcade game before making the leap to PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2009 and then to the PC later that year.

I haven't seriously played Street Fighter in years so this announcement doesn't matter much to me.
However, I approve of arbitrary exclusivity because it results in hilarity on NeoGAF and elsewhere.

I just called a good friend of mine who is a SF fanatic and has been bugging me with his constant Xbox 1 Fanboyism. The sound of defeat in his voice as he admitted he was going to have buy a ps4 to play this was pure.....

By SmokeyBut I was told Sony would never buy exclusivityI think this might have been more of a Bayonetta 2 situation. Capcom is in the crapper financially and I don't think this game gets made this soon after IV if they don't get help from somewhere. Looks like Sony did that.
Either way, I'm glad it's being made.
Oh snap, PXG is in the building! I'm just glad the game is coming out, and looking forward to the mechanics. Capcom Cup, can't wait!
god damn how big of a hole is capcom in.
ill just be over here...play killer instinct....... :( at least we'll get ultra sf iv eventually

It's funny how no one gave a solid shit about Guilty Gear being exclusive. As soon as SF5 came out the gate as an exclusive, all hell broke loose, lol

The game was never rumor to be announce. And also, if MS really wanted the game, they would have gotten it. MS has the money for it. They know the value of the I.P. but I think, they see a bigger value on something like TR over SF.

MS needs to ditch that stupid ass parity clause. They aren't in the position to impose such strict stipulations on devs, especially indies. If they were ahead and kicking Sony's ass, I could understand. But they're not. They are merely making it harder for themselves to compete and giving devs and more incentive to go elsewhere
I'm still waiting for the first console maker that realizes that you can do a soft relaunch every other year like every other significant hardware creator the last five years and still be successful.
Like, seriously, launch xbox One v2 to undo your shit hardware with a gears 4 to show off.
I don't understand why MS/Sony/Nintendo think they need to sit on the same hardware for 5-10 years. It's ridiculous.

I can't help but say that I really, really expected a bigger shift in styles from SF4 to 5....
but whatever, should be fun to be able to dance between SF5Omega Edition: AEv.2 and GGXXrd//IPT#REVENGEANCE like a kid again

Mid cycle hardware upgrades/ refreshes have ALWAYS failed. Sega CD, Sega 32 X, 64 DD...All failures. It segments both devs and consumers and just too costly. We will never see it again, or for a long time.
