Yea, it didn't. On the bright side I feel like Fassbender has a pretty high floor for his movies. Don't see how this isn't at least enjoyable.

So the cinematographer on this film is the guy who did the first season of True Detective and Fassbender's Macbeth. The director is the guy who did Macbeth.
