Lads, I think I'm about to pull the trigger on a 3D printer.
Do I have long-term plans for it? No, but at price you can get a (more than) decent one these days, that's not really something I concern myself with.

You can print some anime figures and sell them to Bla for hundreds of dollars anyway
By Elchele Go To PostHow much?I'm going with the Creality Ender 3 Pro. Highly recommended printer for beginners, about 220€. Lots of upgrades to be had.

By Kidjr Go To PostI mean what would you use it for out of interest?Lots of stuff is the best answer I can give you.
I have a couple of projects lined up, stuff I wanted to make out of wood, but will be much easier to prototype / model and print. Also tools and gadgets and small stuff like that. I've caught myself wishing I had a 3D printer for this and that quite frequently over the past couple of years and considering that my bro is gonna pony up half the money, there really are no excuses left. And I'll have a reason to finally learn Fusion360. :D

Sweet. Do it, then I can send you some files for you to print out and post back to me. I'll pay, obvs.

Once I get the hang of things I'll probably put myself up on 3Dhubs.
By Wahabipapangus Go To PostI'm 3d scanning my dick right nowFull mast, I hope. The Ender can print up to 25cm, so plenty of room to spare.
Always thought that a 3D printer would be the perfect accessory if I ever got an older project car I wanted to restore, especially if it came to redoing the interior so I wouldn't need to scour for parts.

There's also a class of data simply known inside Apple as "the reilo files."

3D printer has arrived, assembly proceeding without issues. The Chinese included good instructions for once.
To pluck your prints off the printer's bed, in theory. You can actually unstuck them by hand quite easily. It's even easier on the Ender 3 Pro, as it has a flexible magnetic cover over the bed, which you can remove (and the print with it) and bend and the parts just pop off. At least with PLA plastic.
Printed about a dozen parts so far, all came our perfectly. No failed prints yet, though I haven't printed anything overly ambitious yet.

speaking of, the note 10 presser is going on right now and it has a 3d scanner that you can animate and 3d print off of.
This was an interesting article about how living without access to anything the big 5 tech companies offer went for a journalist: https://gizmodo.com/i-cut-the-big-five-tech-giants-from-my-life-it-was-hel-1831304194
And how they were actually able to block everything: https://gizmodo.com/want-to-really-block-the-tech-giants-heres-how-1832261612

I've used 65% of the 64GB on my Pixel 2, that I've had for 2 years.

I've kept all my photos/vids from the previous 4 phones I had and just keep moving them onto my new phones.
I actually purchase music and download it (I know, kids, it seems strange, but it's what I do). I only stream to discover, and that's it. If I like it, I buy it. Therefore, I appreciate phones with good storage out of the box.
That said, I don't carry my entire music library on my phone, either, but I guaran-damn-tee it's the majority of the space used. My phone has ~30GB free of roughly ~111GB that's usable, for example. Damn near all of the space used is going to be audio of some kind.

I suppose most other credit card providers don/t have a stage presentation for just how stunning their chamfered titanium cards are. They also don't tell you not to put them in your jeans or your wallet
