Looking into getting a fancy smart thermostat with an additional sensor and some smart smoke+co2 detectors. My current thermostat doesn't have a c-wire hooked into it which is an issue because most of the nice smart thermostats require it to run without issue. Will have to pull off the backplate to see if maybe there is a c-wire that wasn't used but just shoved into the wall. If not, I'll probably hire an electrician to add one for me.
I need one to come out here to check out the power in my bathroom, anyway.

I decided I had enough off shitty coffee shop wi-fi (and the fact that coffee shops don't always have wi-fi) when I am out of the house on the weekends with my laptop.
I finally got rid of my grandfathered Unlimited plan and jumped into the new Unlimited plan which gives me 15GB/mo of uncapped hot spot, which should be more than enough. The plan is overall cheaper, too, so, yea, whatever. They got me.

Does the core i7 15 rmbp 18 perform more consistently than the core i9 version? Have my mind set on the core i7 version but want a redesign with more diverse ports
Moving forward all I'm drinking is cold black coffee.

If you aren't getting the six core i9, you mind as well get the 2017 i7 model.
Besides the Six-Core and the optional 32GB RAM, you aren't missing that much. The 2017 fully loaded 15" MacBook Pro can be found cheaper now and it has pretty comparable performance. If you plan on getting the 2018 version, get every upgrade other than SSD.
Otherwise stick with a spec out 2017, 15" model that I have.

Never had any problems with my keyboard.
Maybe it is because I take care of my workstation and I clean my hands before and after using my keyboard.

Apple has become the first company in the world with a market cap of over $1 trillion. This follows a jump in its stock after reporting strong Q3 earnings that saw the iPhone maker surpass both its own projections and analysts’ estimates, while also making a strong forecast for its upcoming Q4 earnings.a trilly a trilly a trilly
That's a stupid amount of fucking money.

Apple doesn't care about you m8
Apple did give free repairs for all their products, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch; for everyone living in the Kansai region in Japan who were affected by the heavy rain and floods.
Any water damage was completely covered and taken care of.

Been using the One+6 for 2 weeks now. Absolutely loving it, everything on it just works so well and design is great. Don't even mind the notch after a while (and even then you can turn it off in the menu)
New camera is also a godsend coming from a One+1, stabilisation so good.

By Haz Go To Posti’m pretty surprised by this, MKBHD is a huge Google stock android fanIf you don't care about having the absolute best camera, One Plus has been killing it since the One Plus 3, outclassing flagships at mid range pricing.
I just upgraded to Oreo on my One Plus 3T and everything is still super fast. The facial recognition is ridiculously fast as well.
Whenever I upgrade it'll be to another One Plus device.
my only issue with OnePlus (when i still had Android) was the customer support and update support, but i think they’ve come a long way since then. the only thing that bothers me now is that they’re a chinese company and i find it hard to trust chinese OEMs like Huawei despite having really good phones.

My headphone jack fucked up and became really lose. At first I thought it was my headphones and changed that cable, but turned out to be the fucking phone.
Luckily I ended up smashing the phone by dropping it. The P20 Pro is my new bae. It got some faults, but man, I just love how it looks and that is enough for me. Vaporwave af. Wish it had a headphone jack though.

I still struggle to understand the big emotions towards a notch. Never feels like it gets in the way for me, or looks bad.

I hate wireless headphones because I feel like I'd loose them. I wouldnt last a month with those ear pod things from apple.
Wondering what phone to get, I wonder if we will be getting a note 9?
Also are most phones pretty robust these days? I've dropped this pixel so many times. On the pavement, wood, marble, grass, ive even kicked it, had it thrown at a wall, been in the oven for 10 mins. Shit works fine. I love the simplicity of it and how stripped down it is compared to other phones I've seen. No head jack sucks but as first switch to android i hope my next phones as good.

My next phone has to have an IR blaster. Its so useful, change the work/gym tv/etc without anyone noticing.

My Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has an IR blaster as well. Need to get around to setting it up, could definitely use it for AC control & stuff around the house.
