lmao what....
I think the only guy who is TOUCHING Lomachenko right now is Mikey Garcia and he's just moved up to 140 I think.
There is not one single person at 130 right now who I'd say would beat Loma
And also this whole boxers and unbeaten record thing is such a distraction from matching up quality fighters imo, you learn far more from your losses than you do wins.
i like loma but i'm still not gonna move the meter for him either way for what happened against rigo
rigo didn't even show up. i don't know what was going on in that man's life, but that was some disgraceful shit he did in the ring and its all on him

Floyd spent half his career fighting tomato cans, boxers past his prime, or before his time just to preserve that pristine record. He's got it now, but if you can run it back in 2017, how many fans want to see his career again or tommy hearns's?

You can apply this logic to almost any boxer if you know enough about Boxing.
And hand on heart, out of all the people lloyd has fought who would give him problems in their "prime". I think the only person hand on heart I can say he didnt want any problems with (at that stage of his career) was Winky Wright.
I dont think it really would have made a different whether he fought Cotto, Canelo, Mosley, Hatton, Marquez etc.
The only one who may have been an issue was pacman and well I'm more inclined to believe the doping rumours than not due the logic.
Like when you sit down and REALLY go through Floyds resume it gets to a point where you just kinda have just give it up the guy man. You cant ALL just be strategic timing with a list THAT good

You are using excuses about canelo being too young then mention them being too old which I guess you mean mosely, which one is it? Floyd beat all the legends and guys people said to fight like oscar, mosley, cotto, corales, pacquiao, canelo, etc. loma lost already and doesn't even have 20 fights, salido was not even in his prime too.

Probably among the best fights of the year so far.
Cant wait for this as I'm going back from front row, wasnt that expensive considering, taking father in law for some bonding time.
Whos everyone tops five fighters across all divisions right now?
1. Terrance Crawford - in my opinion p4p bar none, no one comes close.
2. Lemochenko
3. GGG
3. Mikey Garcia
4. Anthony Joshua
5. Canelo

I like that top 5.
I might be heading to Malaysia to watch Pac Man lose in June.
Browne Whyte will be a boring fucking fight but the undercard looks alright. Ritson and Scotty Cardle will be a tear up.

Good fucking question man, it took a while for him to win me over but wilder has my respect man. Best one punch power in boxing, wilder hits you semi clean and your gone. But I think aj would take him, too many holes in wilder as a fighter (if ortiz went 12 rounds would have won on points fairly comfortably despite being knocked down). Both can take a decent punch so would really be an exciting fight that could go both ways.

I really don't think much of him as a fighter but I like what whyte has done with his career following aj the loss.
Yep the only area of concern for is that I don't think Joshua uses the ring well at all and can get really flat footed in the later rounds
By KP Go To PostIm pretty confident Wilder will take his jaw off
Really why? Ortiz was handling wilder pretty well imo.
By Kidjr Go To PostReally why? Ortiz was handling wilder pretty well imo.yeah that's the thing
ortiz was doing pretty damn solid. AJ being on another level SHOULD neutralize wilder, especially late
Wilder just needs one good loss to get his shit together anyways
Styles make fights. AJ is used to dominating fights. Wilder will be coming forward alot more than any other fighter he's faced. And if he gets buzzed he'll be stopped. He doesn't know how to hold or fight defensively at all.
If Whyte was anything other than a sack of potatoes he'd have put him away in the round or 2 after he clipped him
I worry for the Parker fight if it goes late and AJ's stamina. Thankfully Parker has got pillows for hands

How come AJ keeps avoiding Wilder then? He doesn't want wilder in the ring after the Parker fight, etc
Hearn already said if Whyte beats Browne he's setting Wilder Vs Whyte.
Ain't nobody want AJ near a wilder hook

While I agree that Joshua doesn't have a great defence I don't think you're factoring in Joshua's pace and power. Wilder can't afford to come in windmilling because aj is good enough to see that coming a mile off and would knock him out. Think it would be similar to ortiz in that if wilder doesn't knock him out aj wins on points, he's a better boxer.
By KP Go To PostBiiiiig KO
Fair play. Whyte Wilder it is
I was thinking I like how he's steered he's career since the aj loss. Not sure he's top tier but sure deserves his shot.

I still maintain he lost the Chisora fight but yeah out side the big few he's probably the best around.
Good to see AJ weigh in considerably lighter should help with some stamina issues.
Could be a nice fight this
Could be a nice fight this
Yep, I know Parker is quicker but I'm think people under estimate how quick a light aj is. Coupled with the fact Parker a) doesn't counter punch b) is going to be relying on his speed in combinations.. Which will leave him open to ajs brilliant counter punching c) he's just too easy to hit. I can't see him winning but should be a ridiculous fight, fucking pumped!
The bloke just has a glass jaw. If you suffer from that you need to work bloody hard on your defence. Never learned.
Price has let down the whole of the UK, allowing a Russian flag to be waved in the middle of the ring in the current climate smh
