These are open headphones so they're not really suitable for an office environment, and work best indoors, but the sound quality is pretty much unbeatable. There are tons of professional reviews if you look around.

Never bought headphones before and the reciews seem really good ill my it.

Wish i had that free 2 day amazon prime shipping tho.

The Sennheisers low bass makes it not so great for bass heavy music, but otherwise they're pretty great. I'd jump on this deal if I didn't just buy that $160 deal for the AudioTechnica M50x + Yeti mic.

Copped these at sofmap a while ago for 9,980円 ridiculous price... It is at 12,000円 currency at stores.

I can vouch for the MT50x as well. Copped them on sale a year or two ago at like $105.

I have the M40x. Would like to get these.

These headphones are so amazing I'm deleting all my MP3 files as we speak.

FLAC only for me from now on.

PSY, buy the ATHM50, I've had about four different cans over the years.. and the quality cannot be matched for the price.

There are better headphones out there in the $400 range, but the difference is marginal and you will not be dissapointed with the ATHM50's.

Audio technica makes quality products, love my vinyl player by them too.

Ironically I bumped this thread because my skull candy earphones I got from Walmart for 15$ just went out t.

My only knock on the ATHM50's is a slightly inflated weight of bass. But for hip hop heads, it's not exactly a negative. It's not Beats level of obnoxious though.

ART Monitor's has a bit of a cleaner sound and are ideal for classical musical and more vocally inclined adult pop like Andrew Bird or something.

I like both of them though and for someone who hasn't heard many higher end headphones, the difference will be negligible.

I haven't got my hands on these Sennheisers, but I've heard good things.

I haven't heard these myself, I'm sure the sound quality is excellent - especially for the price.

The biggest knock for me is the velour ear pads. I just don't really like the material as they can feel gross after you wear them for a while and your head gets hot. Plus it collects lint and stuff.

Whatever the case, it's going to be a super huge upgrade over what you currently have.

Those senns are my fav because they are the most comfortable.

I work in a hifi store and I love seeing people react to a pair of good headphones or speakers when they're not used to anything with decent quality :P

Wish that 598 deal back then shipped to The Netherlands because that was a fucking steal. I'm probably gonna get myself a pair of B&W P5's down the line for on the go.
