What is it?
Your very own Mario level builder on Wii U. You'll now be able to build levels with the tools given to you in Nintendo's most iconic game series. And then upload your creation to the internet for the whole world to play your design. Yes, this game is all about user generated content. I can hear you think, what if I don't have the inspiration to create awesome levels? Well then you can always approach this game as any Mario game with an infinite amount of levels to enjoy. And maybe the inspiration will hit you after playing so many cool levels others made.
What do we do in this thread?
This is the perfect place to share your creations with other Slaent members. After uploading a level you'll be given a unique code so others can find your level. Make sure to share those codes in this thread and maybe give some information on your thoughts about the design. And to make it easier to keep track of levels of your favourite builders Nintendo also build in a Twitter-like follow system. So be sure to follow your fellow Slaent members if you want to check out their future creations without having to mess with codes everytime.
Amiibo Support
As one might expect this game supports Amiibo's just like most other recent games from Nintendo. Here you can use them to unlock costumes that you can put into your levels. The costumes act like a mushroom. So let's say you're walking around in your Sonic costume if you get hit by a Goomba you'll turn into small Mario again. The 30th Anniversary Amiibo unlocks something special, it will give you gigantic Mario. It's important to notice that you can also unlock the costumes by playing the 100 Mario Challenge in the game. Amiibo's are merely a faster way of unlocking.

Amazing OT Randy. I've been playing at my bro's today and I'm finally picking this up at some point.
Great game.
Game's a lot of fun, though I have not unlocked all the building blocks yet. Spent most of my time playing other people's courses together with a friend.

Been playing the 10 Mario Maker Challenge mostly for the past hour. Still about 10 or so samples to unlock before I get the NWC levels. And then to finish those for that funky mushroom unlock. When I'm done there I'll get to building some shit.
A friend mine made a cool Kaizo Mario like stage. It's all about tricky jumps and finding out what you're supposed to do.

My first upload!
It's pretty bare bones right now but eventually it will be my attempt at a 1-1 type of level (once I unlock all the tools/parts I need). I'm putting it up to play test a 'secret' platforming section. Give it a try and let me know if it's too hard or too easy (I'm pretty bad at Mario games so it's hard for me to judge). It's only 10* seconds long now but that's just to force you to go a certain way.
This game is crazy fun!

101 was too hard, I gave up on it. But 102 was the perfect level of difficulty for me. Fun level.
